Place to be for 2012

Hey. I'm still kind of new to this site... but I'm not new to everything that's posted around here. Although I do still have a lot to learn. I was just wondering if any of you guys knew some good places to go to before
Dec. 21,2012.
Any good, most likely safe, places to be during that time? I've heard the Americas will be the worst place to be and Europe as well. What about Australia? Any comments would be appreciated regarding this topic.

What do you mean what do I think is going to happen? Do you not know about 12/21/2012? The theory I'm most concerned with right now is the Pole Shift that is supposed to happen on that day. Hope that helps.

Your *actually* going to go hide in another country,waste all that money etc because of 2012 ... Sit inside, have a beer or something,nothings going to happen.

What I mean is there are so many theories about 2012 that come out of thin air, most of them from peoples imagination. Some say great things will happen, some say bad things, but what kind of bad things?

You think something bad will happen, and your asking us what to do, but that ALL depends on what WILL happen, for example what to do if war happens or if major earthquakes happen, each situation has a different answer...

So now you say a pole shift, that's good, now people can actually answer your question.

well, techinally there is NO safe place because we DON'T know exactly what will happen. but, let;s try this...

1) pole shift- definately don't wanna be around too many animals, as this could drive them insane. and you don't want fido, and the stray cat across the street eating you face off, now do ya?

2) the alignment- not really anything to do or anywhere to go, this is supposed to affect the entire planet. how it will affect the planet, no one knows how it will affect humans and animals, no one knows. might not do anything, could rip the planet apart, who knows.

the thing to be worried bout isn't just dec. 21, the whole year is going to be turbulent, solar flares are expected to be at an all time high, we'll be entering an "extremely violent" part of the galaxy, with way more debris than we've seen, meteors out the wazoo.

then there is the whole biblical aspect, there is so much that is epected to happen.
stay where ya are, stock up on spam, chicken noodle soup and bottled water, chain the dog, get out the lawn chair, buy a twelver and watch the show.

but, decent books to get for info are

according to anyone without a political adjenda of their own and with a cleared out bias inturpetation of the prophecy, it's clear to see one of the best places to be in the United States. This is according to Nostradamus and biblical prophecy that show that the U.S. will be where the returned christ stems out of and is a far off land from the forces of the antichrist.

Personally I like anything past the freeze line that isn't a long standing major city.

Only kidding, probably Eastern Asia, away from faultlines, New Zealand, although the sea is very near, is unlikely to get hit by nukes or much fallout.

As of this moment, due to NO hard facts that anything is going to happen in 2012 apart from the London Olympics, I shall probably be going to work just like any other normal year/day.

I dont hold much for predictions as they are only ever found to be predicted accurately after the fact and then it is down to perceived interpretation.

Fact: Scientific reports have shown that

-The earth is already begun it's magnetic pole shifting.
-The 2012 solar max cycle is expected to be the worst modern man has seen.
-The geographical pole is slipping more rapidly
-Both magnetic and geographical pole shifts happen at a given rate and we're past due.

That's just a hand full of reports, I have more but I understand you'd rather stay uninformed.

Pole shift only means a switch of the charges at each of the poles. Thinking that the earth will flip upisde down is only a hypothetical theory with no scientific backing

I am not buying it, sorry. I need far more ''Official Facts'' than a few fringe reports. You believe what you want to, I am not stopping you.

Even IF the pole is shifting a few degrees it does not mean that that they are going to switch or that anything drastic is going to happen .... It is just scaremongering and doomsaying .... something that lots of people on this site seem to love and relish in.

2012 is going to be just like any other year ...... I have heard all this ''End of the World'' BS too many times.

And unless you provide these reports instead of just speculation we will continue to be as uninformed as before.

Well, those reports are right there for you to examine yourselves, like many have already. The only question I have is: Why do people that don't believe flock to 2012 threads? I don't like cream cheese stew, and if there was a thread about that, you'd not see my name written there. So I can't help but wonder what types of personalities have nothing better to do then interact with topics they don't believe in.

One might assume you'd see it as if children were on a forum talking about santaclaus, I'm sure you'd rush to that to say "santa isn't real!".

do not come to New Zealand. its so quite without all these crazy people believing the world will end on 2012.....................so stay away and leave me alone lol

Actually, Santa Claus is historical fact and on the record.

''The 2012 Event'' on the otherhand is pure speculation and wannabee.

As to 'flocking' to this thread, most who prowl around the Survival Forum generally look at most threads posted here. If this thread was anywhere else on this site, most of us would probably not have found it or looked for it.

My house. I have beer, booze, chips, a big screen, guns and a pretty sweet BBQ on the deck. My girlfriend is pretty damn hot and knows how to make the best steak in the world. We can sit here and watch nothing happen together! I'll even let you use my laptop to talk to fellow ATSers. Man I still remember when people thought the Earth would be barraged by nukes in 2000. In the event that I am wrong about 2012, I will buy you a drink in heaven, and if your nice maybe even a burger.
