I find this quite interesting.

Obama is without a doubt very precise with everything he says, how he says it, and the image he portrays. It only makes sense that he apply this same precision to the individuals he chooses to surround him self with. If people are choosing to skip a potential position in Obama's administration in fear of what could be uncovered, then it's probably not somebody he would want to surround him self with anyway.

Is this too much?

No, it is not too much to ask. You would think every President would want ethical and honest people in their administration. I expect no less from Obama.

I could not agree more. Better to ask the questions now rather than face the potential embarrassment of a scandal early in a presidency.
