BUSH is the biggest WAR Criminal in the history of the United States!!

He needs to be tried and convicted as a Horrible monster killing lying War Criminal that he is!!

He killed everyone at the WTC - because he was behind it - he has listened to our phone calls, watch where we go on the internet - he has completely shredded our constitution - thousands even possibly a million people have been killed due to his lies in the middle east!!

He tortures people - to me ..... he is another Hitler - and worst!

I say do to him as was done to Sadam Hussien once he is convicted of everything he has done!

What would be Awesome - is if other countries did trials on him also - the world could convict that horrible war criminal anti christ that is in office now.

I am still holding my breath - because I do not think he will leave office - I still think he has something planned so he will stay in office.

Got two words for you.

PROVE IT.

And not to the members of ATS but in a court of law.

Would you like the police to throw you in the slammer without proving in a court of law that you are guilty.

There has got to be a reason we consider people Innocent Until Proven Guilty.

Wow! The evil and dimwitted GWBush has destroyed the worlds economy! Somehow I find this funny. Not the situation, but that GWBush has been considered a moron, yet somehow an evil genius by his enemies.

You know, I like your diplomatic way of showing an alternative viewpoint, but seriously bro---You are aware that our gov is doing exactly the opposite of that, correct? They are holding people for YEARS without any proof of wrongdoing or TRIAL. This was what I was referring to in my original reply to you about suspending habeus corpus. That is precisely what they have been doing.

In fact, a judge just ORDERED the release of 5 detainees who have been held in such a fashion, because they were never granted a trial or convicted of ANYTHING, yet they were imprisoned and held for years despite this.

So despite the illusion that we are running some "just" system, that is all that it is for the most part---an illusion.

Your post sound a little self righteous to me.

Haha. On the contrary. You want me to seem self righteous. What a highly contrived, personal notion. Blaming yourself is only half of what you should be doing...

So why am I exempt? Because I don't pay taxes to your government. I know that makes me seem rather biased. If I were in your position, I would most certainly react the same way. There are forces far greater than myself and I know it.

This little exchange of ours had merely pointed out the futility of this blame game we all seem to be enjoying. War is ugly. Until those that are truly guilty are convicted, there is nothing we can do but speculate. Blaming the big guy at the top is very easy to do. But I truly believe we should think much more deeply about ourselves and the society we have created, the society the "powers that be" are scrambling trying to hold together.

First of all, excellent thread.

I like your diplomatic way of showing an alternative viewpoint,

I understand your frustration that our government is or has been doing the exact opposite of what the Constitution, Federal or State laws are saying. However, playing the same game on their level makes us just as guilty as them. The same way Bush views the Guantanamo detainees is basically the same way people view Bush and want him to be punished just as badly. An eye for an eye if you must. My view in all of this is that the group that has the most power, Congress, has failed to do its job with the exception of a few. My belief is that we go through the process that our constitution and federal laws dictate. To do anything outside of this would make us just as non compliant as Bush.

I propose that if one truly believes that Bush has abused his powers or committed a crime then he or she should gather their evidence and submit copies to their representatives requesting an investigation. These are the people one must convince to get the ball running.

See, and this is where my frustration (and much of the rest of us) stems from.

You are ABSOLUTELY correct, that this is the way things are SUPPOSED to be done, and the way that has made our system the envy of literally the rest of the world.

Unfortunately, as we have seen over the past several years, over and over and over again---That system has been entirely compromised. The system of "checks and balances", as it was set up to be, is no longer functioning as it was set out to be. The congressional body is now nearly irrelevant, as they have refused to enforce any type of accountability across the board on a whole host of issues regarding both foreign and domestic policies, many of these being direct CRIMES and violations of the Geneva convention (International law) and Constitution (Domestic law).

The aforementioned invasion on false premises, torture, the passage of the patriot act, warrantless wire-tapping and spying of american citizens under the fallacy of the "war on terror" are all shining examples of laws that have been broken and signed off on by not only Bush and his criminal cabal, but a large portion of the congressional body.

This creates a problem. Now the same body that is supposed to ensure checks and balances and presidential power monoplolies is no longer doing so out of being guilty of signing off on the same criminal enterprises themselves.

This creates quite the conundrum.

How does justice get served when nearly EVERYONE is guilty of the same crimes? How does an entirely corrupt system police itself?

These are the problems facing us, and the whole world at large right now.

And Bush's family isn't?? Go do some research on his family going back long before His presidency and his father's!! It's pretty logical to see how the youngest of the clan behaving as he does today!

You'd be smart by adding the Bush's family in your axis of evil list. The one word to describe them is filth!

Absaluote filth. The one's in it are evil, they are all in it together to get their hand's in the blood, and get the gold.

Evil is evil, lesser or greater doesn't really matter.

And what do you believe personally. You see this is where many American's like you get cot up.

Instead of using your own reasoning to certain question's, you look to other sources, or what "other's" say, or what "they" said.

Do you believe he is a moron or a genius?

Have you actually looked at the reality and present right now and dicerned which he is exactly?

You know to many American's are like dog to food when it comes to the media over there. The media are paid to spin out crapology about him. It's all politic's and power. Many media news channel are 100% controlled by the government's. Do you honestly not think there is somethin odd, that they would protray him to be a moron and make him out to be a lost puppy? and even then protraying him to be the most idiotic moron ever to have run the American presidency. You know from my perspective, this doesn't smell quite right.

But true or not about the judgment's made of him, have you ever actually sat down and asked, how could a be a president if he's such a moron?

You know, I don't care what Bush and Company do as long as the lights turn on, I have gas for my car, money in the bank and food on the table. We don't need to hug the rest of the world or sing kumbaya.

It's that attitude, that is the real problem in this world. It's that attitude that lead us to the selfish behaviour of what is been discussed with high placed leaders in this world

The wallowing in our ego's, like it's ok or justifiiable for problems to get out of hand in the world, just as long as your ego is satisfied? It's unbelivable that people say such thing's. Like sure, it doesn't matter if other's suffer or other's lives are lost as a result, as long as I'm sitting in my big mansion and having a nice warm fire by my side. Heck like.

In the extreme case, some people who have the same attutude as the above poster, think it's ok to ravage genoicide and war on the world, so they can have their gas for their cars, money in the bank and have the food on their table. But the more savagery the more luxurious the items you get and the more luxurious your cars are and the healthier your bank balance will then be. It's called the ego, and a big ego leads to greed.

It's exactly that attitude that makes the power's of be behave erratically all over the world.

Ask them to give up their cars, lights, tv, iphone, ipod, sat dish, make a lower wage, etc just so someone else in the world can have it better and they would tell you not only no but hell no. They would say the government can help feed the rest of the world as long as I have my toys.

I am really not sure what you are talking about???

At one time in the US it was illegal to wiretap without a warrant????

I simply stated facts. Facts regarding illegal surveillance in our country. Many that justify this surveillance with the attacks on 9/11 are shocked to learn that the Bush administration instituted these policies BEFORE 9/11!
You see they believe that because of the attacks on 9/11 extraordinary measures were instituted in order to protect our country from terrorists!
Yet these were no extraordinary measures these were preemptive measures before 9/11!!!

OK then Bush and his cronies or how about the Bush Administration has managed to run our economy into the dirt and get into a war for no good reason whatsoever except to line their own fat wallets. Rumsfeld, Cheney and Colin Powell and the rest of GW's cabinet ought to be ashamed of themselves. I get ill thinking about These folks and the farce they've perpetrated on the American people.
