CALGARY — More than a dozen students were suspended and police are investigating after a red-headed Grade 10 student was swarmed and beaten in an attack that may have been inspired by the animated TV show “South Park.”
School boards across Canada were on alert Thursday for “Kick a Ginger Day,” which targeted red-haired people and gained momentum through the social networking website Facebook.

Good grief, how appalling. Now judging by a person's HAIR COLOR.
I searched Facebook, and I believe the group has been removed since the incident/ incidents, and there appears to many groups started AGAINST the whole idea of segregating and "Kicking Gingers".
Have we really come to this low level of violent stupidity in our young society that they blindly follow the actions of a cartoon?
( I guess Jackass doesn't rule anymore huh?)
I fear for our future.
