I don't think you should take this footage too seriously.

I am thinking where the heck are all those people living in those buildings? If something like that was flying over your roof in the middle of the day, I would think there would be pandemonium.

Several times through the video I could have sworn it was going to crash into the buildings, but nope it just seems to graze them. Then near the end when it "re-appears" it looks like its about 100 times bigger.

It's definitely fake, but cool. I've been working with special effects and video editing for around 5 years and there are a good few signs that tell me it's fake.

It looks fake to me, plus, the sound makes it seem like a UFO out of a movie from the 50's

I'm with PowerSlave on the 'where the heck is everybody' aspect. It's cruising over something akin to an apartment complex, there would be some sign of someone in all that time with all that noise.

The user is a artist uploading his work to see what kind of responses he gets to his work. It is not real. The camera just happen to be at that spot looking at nothing and suddenly a supposed UFO appears. Not to mention something of that magnitude would have people screaming pointing and calling to others to come look. The camera man did not even make a sound also. FAKE

It's definitely someone's artistic attempt at CGI -- and it's pretty good (technically, at least)

However, if people creating these really want to hoax us, then maybe the camera should not first be pointing at nothing in particular until the UFO just "happens" to fly into frame.

I know it's possible that a UFO would just happen to slowly fly into frame while someone just happens to be videotaping nothing happening on an empty street (and then not even attempt to follow the UFO), but not very probable. That aspect alone made this video seem very fake.

The sound is like some 50's hollywood studio version of what they thought a UFO would sound like.

It's a fake, and it seems we are all in agreement.

And it's neither too bad nor realistic, IMHO: i see lack of motion blur and the motion itself is unrealistic at all, but the masking of the houses is very well made, unlike many others CGI we've seen so far, and the model is well made too: nothing to say about reflections, shadows and illumination, but of course it's NOT by coincidence that he did choose a cloudy day video to post process.
