hey moddy people...

I've had an idea for a kinda cool linguistic thread on BTW that may or may not get interest...

I want to call it the 'synonyms thread'

Basically, what happens, is I start it with a word, then someone types in a similar word in meaning and gives a word class/definition. I think that:

a) it could be fun

b) it could show the versatility of the english language and how flexible is is.

It's kinda like the three word story but with a more linguistic bent.

As a linguist, I find this kinda thing interesting - very interesting.

Can I do it or will it be deleted?
