After all of the doom and gloom articles people post, I thought this would be some nice comic relief. I really want to know if this guy is serious. If
he is, how would this work? I wonder how many people would take advantage of this if it were implemented. I know a few people obsessed enough to try
it. Personally I think this guy needs some help

Maybe he could battle to the death or at least a lot of pain to have the rights to marry the cartoon over another person.
It never ceases to amaze me the stupidity of people. I have to wonder is he serious, what is his current role in society, and does he have any metal
issues that are not seen (beyond wanting to marry a cartoon)? How will this work if more than one person wants to marry the same character and does
the person who owns the rights to that character get some sort of marriage compensation or have to share it with the guy?

Just when I thought I'd seen it all....
I can hear the cries of support from mother's basements all over the world.
The sadder thing is..
I feel more sorry for the comic characters.

How does one give consent to marry, if one has never existed in the first place?

What a ridiculous thing to petition for. Two dimensional might be right up his alley.. If he is serious, he doesn't seem to have much depth.
( Can you imagine the protests if the cartoon character is the same sex?? A whole ' nother can o'worms )
