That is the way it is supposed to work. Unfortunately it is not reality.
Look to the recent Economic Stabilization Act as an example.
Another is the Trans Texas Corridor project.
The general response to emails and letters is a scripted reply to the effect of "it is the will of the voters".
They will have you believe the will of our representatives is eqivalent to the will of the people, this too is how it's supposed to work and again it
is not reality.
It is why many important and heinous laws and regulations are buried in "economic stimulus" or other "benevolent" type bills.
I'm not promoting violence as a solution.
Violence will be not an action but rather a reaction to increasing use of
force by the government to implement their will.
