You are pretty close to the truth. The FBI and CIA have agents undercover in the militia groups. However, this time its not to stop them its to make sure they have armed rebellion and may in fact be leaders making them think that they are "pro-fight for rights types". The formation for rebellion would justify declaring martial law. The same operations was used in Red Square, the planned millitary coup of 1933 to be lead by Major General Smedley Butler but he blew the whistle in 1934-1935......The next two planned military coups would be in 1960 to 1963 and third 1972........with Nixon and the US Marines......General Cushman. The problem with the revolution is that it has to have stated and agreed upon goals. What goals are those?

For me, it would be a return to a constitutional federal government. It would be a return to a government that governs least, governs best. It would involve the repeal of the 16th and the 17th amendments. The return of powers to the individual states and/or the people.

What about you? What about everyone else? We have a LOT of pinks and reds these days that love the Nanny State. These cradle-to-grave statists have no desire to return to self-government. Hell, when was the last time you heard anything negative of Communism in the MSM? Ask a high-schooler you know what they are being taught about collectivism. It's being taught. Not as a bad thing, but as a good thing.

If you decided to do "something", how would you let your intentions be known? Anything violent would be branded terrorism and all the haus fraus would be lining up to demand that somebody needs to do something to stop this! How do you get Joe and Jane Plumber to understand that actions taken against the State aren't actions taken against them or their families? How do you get them to understand that you are doing what you are in order to help them?

Americans are divided along so many lines that unity is almost impossible. Black vs. White. Gay vs. Straight. Republican vs. Democrat. The list goes on forever. This was done intentionally to prevent exactly what we are discussing. With total control of the MSM and all of the stigmatism surrounding gun nuts and right-wing wackos, the elite has ensured that we are incapable of organized resistance. The threat of the IRS be used against us is real and life-ending.

This isn't Romania (no slight intended). We have 300 million people living here. We have racial, secular, geographic and economic divisions here that will prevent any unification efforts. The best case scenario would be regional States formed after the fall with the big city dwellers taking the brunt of hit. We rely on the State too much for it to fail without causing untold misery for but a few of us.

I got a little long-winded but the answer to the question is I don't know. It will have to get a lot worse, before it gets better. We'll all be Chinese if there is major unrest in the US anyway. I totally agree that an armed revolt only plays into their hands and that is what they want us to do

I have said before all they understand is contracts ,so we need a contract they can understand .

I honestly do not think that ATS is the proper forum for discussing revolution, even hypothetically. The only thing that talk like that will do is get ATS/BTS shut down for being a "subversive threat" to the powers that be. Others may disagree with my assessment, and thats okay. I am only stating one possible outcome to all this talk of revolution on this great website that we are all a part of.

They are counting on an armed revolution. This will be the fourth planned military coup in the US that never made the history books. They were in 1933-1934; 1960-1963; and 1970-1972 time frame. If they can provoke a race war or armed revolution they can declare a national disaster and martial law pitting one group of US patriots against a battle hardened groups of patriots. To supplement the battle hardened US Patriots that are fooled, will be 500,000 to 1,000,000 UN and Russian troops that are already stationed here in the US in many of the closed and rebuilt bases. Russians are in Verz cruz, Vensuela, Cuba and Alaska. Subs are stationed off the east and west coast.........they are planning on a coup. also many cities will be hit with a bird flu pandemic.........

I have tried to step back and look at this from every angle, and can only come up with one solution that doesn't involve an armed revolution which would include untold civilian casualties.

I am not saying that an armed revolution can not or will not happen, and I am not saying that I am against such a thing, if push comes to shove I will gladly be one of the first people in the streets. With that being said, the only way (I can see) that this can be done without ridiculous ammounts of bloodshed is for our armed forces to begin it.
What we really need is for some military brass to say 'enough is enough' and seize the government and return it back to the people. I have tried to poke holes in my own theory and find the mistakes in my own logic and I can't, so please feel free to correct me if you can.

Here is why I believe this.
Any way you look at it, nothing else can produce an effective end result without massive bloodshed.
We could try to vote out the corrupt leadership but I think we all know that the real 'puppetmasters' aren't in positions they could be voted out of. We could inundate Washington with letters and phonecalls demanding that things change, but they would only change enough to get most people to settle back into their comfortable lives.
What you are witnessing is 'boiling frog syndrome' at it's finest. They know damn well that if they turn the heat up too fast we'll jump out of the pot and burn this mutha down, so they won't be that naïve.

It may be presumptuous of me to think that our armed forces would ever do such a thing, but I hope, and I pray that they will 'see the light' and come to their senses and realize that they are being used as instruments of oppression on a global scale. I can only hope that the day will come when some military brass will finally say no more, not in my name, or my countries name any longer. They are our last, best hope for a full revolution, a full dismantling of this diseased bloated monster that was once the greatest nation the world had ever seen.

The corruption that grips this nation should be looked at like a virus or like cancer, you can't treat the symptoms and you can't cure 'parts' of the disease. It must be completely removed and a new one must be formed, anything less would be an exercise in futility, and would only land us back in the same spot we are in now, at some later point in time.

What was once a shining beacon of hope to millions, if not billions, has become a festering sore on the posterior of mankind. Our only hope is that military brass at the highest levels finally come to the same conclusion and decide that they want their children and grandchildren to have a place to call home that they can be proud of, instead of having to hang their heads in shame and claim to be canadian anytime they go on vacation outside of the continental U.S.

And yes we would need to make changes to the constitution so that our elected officials couldn't subvert it and/or write new legislation that would render it useless as the patriot act has done to portions of it.

I had to continue to work because SSD shot me down. I have 11 herniated discs throughout my back & neck and need a knee replaced at 41, yet a person with 1 herniation can get SSD because they are in the lower class. The middle class gets skrewed time and time again while the upper class which btw, Obama is from gets to do as they please & the lower class continue to get richer off the middle class! When is this gonna end?
