Whatever the merits of Spitzer's argument, it was an important discussion for New York and the rest of the country. But his veto was like the proverbial tree falling in the empty forest. The AP's Albany bureau sent out no story, and the news editor does not recall why. A Nexis search found only one brief mention of the veto, in the Albany Times Union. Spitzer sided with the banks and the media were silent.

What this report is about is the media being biased, or one sided. Weather the people want to admit it or not, the main stream media does have some measher of power over what the people will know, and what they will not. Yes there is countries that have an amount of freedom, and freedom of the media, or press. However the large news out lets do have a lot of control, and that brings power and influence with it. That is something the people need to relise.
