ufo captured near the `meteorite` over canada last night

<<  1    2  >>

I thought this deserved its own thread as its from the footage of last night but not related to it, well maybe but its a different event...

It took me a couple of times to notice this
as the video captured on the police dashcam is just incredible so very easy to overlook it,
however upon observing the right hand side
you can see a white object
a bird? a plane?

not a bird.. birds usually speed out of sight when anything like that happens, they dont lurk in the direction of it
a plane? well it changes its path a couple of times first appears to be moving up, then on a slant type angle, and then a second before the video ends it appears to come to a halt, maybe reverse, so definatly not a plane

here we go

a quick note, upon freezing it a few frames before the video ends, the glowing object halts and reverses back a drop within a fraction of a second.. planes dont do that

Since the camera is not being held steady -- it pans to the left at the beginning of the video, and moves a little afterward -- it is very hard to tell what kind of motion (if any) that the object in question has.

This from SpaceWeather.com ensure you select the November 21 2008 page.

"The brilliant fireball appeared to be closer than the airplane in the upper right corner of this video," says Bartlett. "I made the movie using a Canon A510."

The nature of the object is uncertain. The slow pace of the fireball favors decaying space junk and indeed it may have been a Soyuz rocket body reentering Earth's atmosphere a day earlier than expected. The Soyuz rocket launched a Russian Defense Ministry reconnaissance satellite codenamed Kosmos-2445 on Nov. 14th. We cannot yet rule out the possibility that this was a small asteroid disintegrating in Earth's atmosphere; in the statistics of fireballs, asteroids outnumber rocket bodies by a wide margin.

UPDATE: The Saskatchawan fireball was not Soyuz. The Russian rocket body that propelled Kosmos-2445 to orbit was still being tracked 10+ hours after the fireball sighting. This means the fireball was almost certainly a small asteroid.

I genuinely see no movement of that white dot independent of the camera movement. When the asteroid/whatever is in shot, that's really obvious. At the end, there's nothing to go by, but I would assume the cameraman is still as jittery then as he was two seconds earlier.

Anyone can see the camera is moving. Anyone can see the white dot move sideways in conjunction with the meteor as the camera moves. However, when there's only a moving white dot against a black background, no-one can tell if it's the white dot moving or the camera. Unless 'glases' give you super powers.

I suspect it is moving, though. In a plane-related manner.

I watched the video three times, and cannot see what you say you see.

What I do see is a splinter of the meteorite pacing the main body and burning up alongside. And I certainly do not see the white dot to the right stop, or reverse.

I hadn't even noticed that. I was presuming he/she meant the plane on the right-hand edge of the screen, about halfway up.

It is an AIRPLANE! If you dont believe the guy who shot the video I honestly think you should get a head check. The guy was filming airplanes at the airport. Be thankful for that because else this video wouldnt have been made.

Please focus your energy on something else, this is a waste of time and space.

This has already been discussed HERE

I'd like to point out that the video in question was taken with a Canon A510.

The author of the video also stated:

The brilliant fireball appeared to be closer than the airplane in the upper right corner of this video. I made the movie using a Canon A510.

www.startrails.com...
And this puts to rest the alleged UFO in the upper right corner (R.I.P. †).

Regarding what it was, i'd wait until they (hopefully) find the crash site: so far, the nature of the object is uncertain.

This thread should be closed. Its redundant.
