im sorry but i am not good with constellations. it is North east of either the big dipper or Little dipper. i think little. I do not have a camera
with good enough range to capture this because it is extremely high in the air. more than a normal aircraft. there are 5 lights. each one seems to
blink on and off in sequence and sometimes at the same time. here is a picture i drew to best describe it.
if you are in phoenix or the AZ area check it out right now!
and no its not an airplane! airplanes have colored lights, these lights are all the normal yellowish color

Does it look like the Phoenix lights from the 90s?
Just an example. There are better documentaries about it.

the color of the lights are the only thing similar to the 90's ones. these are not flares. these are extremely high in the air, possibly in space
even.

I believe those are stars. I've seen them for the last few months. It certainly is an odd cluster of stars though. Hope someone here can shed more
light on this.
I kinda thought it was some sort of mothership the first time I saw it.

You are probably right, they are up in space, but they are not clusters of stars.
They are most likely satellites, probably DOD or CIA satellites doing some stupid survellance crap or to make people get all bent out of shape and cry
wolf "look more lights above Phoenix"!!

If they were satellites, they would have gone across the sky, they would have been moving pretty quick. It appears that what he is seeing is
stationary and "twinkling"....for lack of a better word.

I have never seen them "move" but I have seen them at differents points in the sky at different times of the night. I'm pretty sure that's because
of our planet revolving. Maybe you should take a picture or video of it?
I immediately recognized the cluster when I saw that pic you put up.

I went outside and looked, couldnt see anything. Im in Ahwatukee. Can you give a general direction, or more of a description ie color size etcetera.
Is it among the constellations or in the sky?

It's definitely not a ufo.
Like I mentioned earlier, I've seen it for many months now and I'm pretty sure they were there way before I noticed them the 1st time. Even my
cousin couldn't see it when I was pointing it out to him.
That being said, I am interested to know what constellation it is. It's the monsoon season now in South East Asia, but if the skies are clear
tonight, I'll attempt to take a pic of it.

EDIT: Thanks, Phage!! So that's Pleideas? Shame on me for being a UFO-nut and not know where Pleideas is in the night sky.
