For those who may not have seen this post in the meteor thread:

I think it's highly likely that he's streaming text from some historical archives about meteors through his vocal text-reader and YouTube hack. This
of course still does not answer the question of what connection he has to the simultaneous occurrence of this giant fireball. Maybe he's just trying
to capitalize on all the search results??

i do notice some are being either corrupted because they once played and now they aren't i hope your you tube catcher got them and that there might
actualy be something worth reading in them. Its an interesting study of life in comets and meteorites. i'm assuming this is research evidence hacked
from somewhere.

James M. DuPont died in 1991...and the Youtube videos are simply the text that I linked to on page 1.
I really can't think of any reason someone would go to the trouble of putting the entire thing on Youtube when it's already available in the
original text online.

ive figured it out
when he refers to extra terrestrial hes refering to minerals or chemicals from the crash metories
not actual entities
so its really all mumble jumble
just a cover up to divert us off the video

This is just text to speech for a paper written.
The hacker mike is not "James M. DuPont
"James M. DuPont, Meteor Expert, Dead at 79"
I think this is a diversion from what is really going on like others have said.
Take a look at this photo infernos posted.

I'm inclined to agree with you guys. This "hacker mike" guy refers to himself as "Michael Dupont" in one of his videos (one in which he is
actually speaking directly to his webcam), and I was thinking, "If this guy is really a hacker, which he seems to be if we look not only at what
he's doing on YouTube but also what appears to be freely available hacking code on his page, not to mention his apparent overall message of open
source and free software (a strong theme of the hacking community), then why would he reveal his name and face?"
Well, it looks to me like he was using the name of the late James M. Dupont as his fake name, and he revealed his face because there aren't too many
good ways to line up a face with a name... and he's probably not in enough trouble / in a safe enough place that he isn't too worried about it,
anyway. Plus it's good for his public image among hackers.
However, if this is all a distraction from the meteor, then this guy seems to be in on a bigger picture. He might be interesting as a source of
research in the future... for now I think I'll try and find some more vids of that meteor.

This is a bit off topic but I was wondering if meteorites can be radioactive?
The reason I ask is because I happen to possess 2 small pieces that I found nearly 9 years ago and only yesterday I was looking at them for a while.
Afterwards I placed them on top of my monitor. A few hours later I noticed a strange colour distortion on the top of the monitor like you get if you
place a magnet near the screen.
At first I thought the screen was on it's way out but switching it off and on again cleared it. So I thought maybe these meteorites are magnetic, so
I tested them but nothing would stick to them, except a fridge magnet. This is why I'm wondering if some kind of radiation could cause this. Any
ideas?
Sorry again for being off topic.

My guess is that no, they aren't radioactive, but yes, they are magnetic. A rock can be magnetic without being strong enough to stick a paperclip to
it. I would recommend keeping it away from your computer.
As far as radioactivity, I don't know enough about meteorites to say, but if it's as old as you say, and just a small piece, I doubt that there
would be much radiation left if there was even any to begin with. Maybe worth checking out on your own, somehow... radiation detection techniques,
anyone?

I doubt it's the real deal, considering everything he's posted has apparently been proven to be quoted directly from publicly available archives,
about the appearance of formations in meteorites that resemble biological structures. Beyond that, I have no idea. Is Hacker Mike connected in some
way to the meteor over Canada? I'm honestly becoming less convinced of this one, too, because the meteor is really looking more and more like just
that -- a meteor, nothing special (although still really cool). But it really is a heck of a coincidence that he put all this meteorite nonsense up
when he did, if that's the case. So I do still have some suspicions... but I'll sleep on it for now.

I think you are probably right.
I was a little worried that it might not be safe to handle them.
I wont be placing them anywhere near my monitor again.

Topsecret? I have no clue but there's something else funny.
Describtion of one of the vids says:
www.whitehouse.gov... local authorities. NATO's commitment to the peace of this region is enduring, but the stationing of our forces here should
not be indefinite. The American soldiers here at Camp Bondsteel -- and at bases and on patrol elsewhere in Kosovo and in Bosnia -- symbolize
America's commitment to building the better, broader, more peaceful Europe that is within our grasp. We are very proud of our soldiers and of the
American diplomats and civil police who work alongside them. Together with our allies and friends and the people of the Balkans, we are confident that
we will reach this common goal. # # # www.whitehouse.gov... Text of a Letter from the President to the President of Kosovo RSS Feed
