GOP Congressman: 'It Is Not Your Money'
worldnetdaily.com
Cavuto asked Knollenberg: "When the housing industry CEOs come to you and say, 'You know, [if] we go under and all the ancillary businesses
– the dishwasher manufacturers, the washer-and-dryer manufacturers, the Lowe's and the Home Depots that vastly depend on our being alive and vibrant
– if we go under, there's hell to pay. And then the textile manufacturer comes to you and says, 'If we go down, there's hell to pay.' And on and on
and on we go. Where do you draw the line with our money?"
"It is not your money," said Knollenberg.
Cavuto screamed back, "It is! It is taxpayers money!"

I know it's from WND, but I'll post the video, it was said on Fox news!
Is this how MOST of our politicians feel about this bailout money?
This is totally ridiculous what he said!
Where does he think this money comes from, trees?
He was also arguing that the auto industry can't sell cars because nobody can get a loan to buy one of their cars, so they should be bailed out so
they will be around when people finally are able to get loans!
Know there's another ridiculous statement he made in this interview!

Or and i know this is crazy, make a car that does not require a god damn loan, what a concept. Take the hit and deal with it like all businesses here
have to , nobody came and bailed me out when my home business was suffering. I hate these big companies trying to dip in, and I hate more that gov
made this so easy, a company should hate and I mean hate to go the gov for aid, as in the past that meant loosing profit, loosing share of the
business, some sort of reparation for having to be bailed out, now there in line like its a great thing, which tells me we the people are getting
screwed hard. Sorry I just get so pissed at this.

It's how most dems have felt for as long as I can remember and thanks to the mind boggling rise of the neo-con ideology it's probably how at least
half of the repubs feel now.
Terrible.
We'll all be putting up with much worse in the next few years. There doesnt seem to any limit to how much garbage and abuse we can tolerate these
days. Or, we're all too stupid to express it properly. The neo (R)'s screw us over, lets all vote (D)! Makes sense to me.

This just goes to show, in better detail, the mindset of the politician. At first they throw the idea around that they don't want a bailout package
because it is going to come from the taxpayer. This guy was one of them (mainly from the GOP side is where this resistence came from). Only for
them, once it was passed as they knew it would be after their initial sign of feigned resistence, to begin thinking of the money as THEIRS to use as
they see fit and NOT OURS! What an f'ing joke!

The government knows its not our money. This Congressman just got backed into a corner and accidentally let the truth slip out.
The whole idea of the free market is a lie. All the money goes up to a few bank accounts, and spread just enough of it out there to keep everyone in
debt to them. The average American is none the wiser and happily slaves away for his debt masters, each year anticipating his fleeting retirement so
he can lay back and die, passing the burden of sustaining the super-wealthy to the next generation. So it was and so it will be until America is
nothing but a shadow of what it used to be. God knows the people are kept too deaf and dumb for any sort of uprising.

Cavuto should get TIME's Man of the Year award for telling Knollenberg the God Honest truth.
It is our money and for them to act ignorant of that fact is beyond pathetic.
Hard to believe people actually voted for this Congressman. His Constituents should start the process of removing him from Congress. He is an
embarrassment to the Great State of Michigan.

Well, based on what has been happening in recent times, he would seem to be right, since we seem to have ZERO say-so where our tax-dollars are being
allocated, or to whom.
Yet another, "in your faces, tax-serf peons" from yet another ruling class-appointed puppet.
We need to kick every last one of these S.O.B.'s sellout butt's straight out of D.C....

That arrogant self centered pr*ck! It's not OUR money? Really? I should consider NOT filing taxes next year or ANY year after that then, if this is
the attitude they're going to have.
I remember when I was young being told that the reason we paid taxes, was to pay for things like roads, police etc. I truly honestly believed that.
But after I started learning the truth behind it, I got madder and madder. I knew it was corruption, but never, NEVER did I ever think, until this
very moment, think that these a** holes thought that OUR taxpayer money was their "entitlement" and if that's the way they think, then perhaps we
need some civilian vigilantes to start goin en masse getting rid of these people. I don't care if it's citizens arrest or what have you, as long as
they're removed and made an example of for any other arrogant politician who thinks this way.

All I can say is for people to show this out rage in all the E-mails they can write to those corrupted morons in Washington.
They get elected so they can cater to the elite that have them in their pockets.
Keep sending E-mails and telling them how you feel, the heat is getting to them, trust me they are only humans not gods, royalty or special even when
they think so, they can get as scare as every American right now facing foreclosures, unemployment an loses for their future and their families.
We all bleed red no matter what.
Just keep the heat on Washington that is the power of the people.

I would expect that Knollenberg will be voted out the next time he's up for election. How could people vote to elect him again after that statement.

If I had a ICBM, I'd put squirrels in it and kill that dumbass.
The only reason why he's rich is because of the middle class. The reason why rich people became rich is because they exploited the welfare of the
poor.
We pay taxes so that we hope that this government we "elected" can equally distribute the money to internal improvements and protect this country.
We basically "let" them "handle" our money. It is still the taxpayer's money. But in reality, politicians take every stab possible to siphon the
little of what we have left.
I HATE THIS.

None of this really matters when you take into perspective the US Governments debt load, the only possible way that it can be repaid is to deflate
your currency till the debt is manageable. Unless of course there is no intention of paying this back ? then all the International Banks would be
demanding "Their" Money ...oh thats what the 700 Billion Bailout was for.
