In this video, Bush doesn't shake anyone else's hands at all. Pretty strange if you are at a summit meeting, trying to figure out how to have everyone else help you keep from going down the tubes economically. Or is he such a lame duck that he is covered in cooties?

Anyone here have a take?

I saw a snippet on CNN last night about the same thing . . . Wasn't sure if they didn't want to shake his hand, if he didn't want to shake theirs or if it was mutual.

Not only was the hand-shaking absent, they were somewhat scowling at each other as well.

I'm guessing . . . and I stress guessing that it had something to do with the fact that a lot of people throughout the world including leaders of countries feel that a lot of the world's mess is driven by the big piggie captialist greed factory that is the US . . .

Just my impression, though.

Interesting little clip, I'm sure they would have shaken his hand had he offered.

Indeed. It does seem like no one is paying attention to him.

I wonder what the point of the summit is, if no one wants to hear what he has to say.
