What IBM is trying to develop is Strong Artificial Intelligence as against weak AI. There is a concept of neural networks in AI. Strong AI can feel,
have emotions and states of mind.
The neural networks can be mimicked to think like a human brain and process information at the speed of thought in human brain.
The only drawback is that these intelligent machines cannot reproduce and are dependant on electricity generated by humans for their existence.
