So it's coming to light now that Israels bombing of that Syrian site was due to the idea that Israel thought it was a nuclear power plant.
This raises a few concerns in my mind, as it might with the rest of you.
1: The site was bombed by Israel on a mere suspicion.
2: It wasn't the suspicion of nuclear weapons that led them to bomb the site, but a suspicion that it might be a power plant.
With the recent issues surrounding Israels shaky dealings with the rest of the middle east, especially that of Iran aswell... one must wonder, even if
Iran's nuclear ambitions are purely for power generation, Israel may just bomb them regardless, as they did last year with Syria.
With events in the region depicting a very unstable environment, let's hope Israel doesn't try this again.
What do you think?
Given that the materials for nuclear power generation are not compatible with nuclear weapons...
Should countries have the right to produce nuclear power plants, power plants that we here in the rest of the world rely on for our energy needs?
