I think the only racists are the PTB- and they are only against class. EVERY last poor person can go to hell as far as they are concerned- and if they can get us to do the job ourselves...... less worry they have.

Interesting little fact about hate crimes.

Hispanic victims are counted separately under race.

Hispanic offenders are counted as white.

Makes it easy huh? Makes sense to have an extra category under "victims" but when counting offenders they suddenly lose their hispanic identity completely.

Well, it wasn't always like this...
I was born in 1963, and I remember a time when America was mainly all white. We pretty much all got along. I remember when there were no Mexicans east of the Mississippi River. The only Asians you ever saw were in a Chinese restaurant. Occasionally, you'd see the rare Indian with a turban shopping in a mall or something. The blacks lived always in a subsection of a major city. For the most part, when I grew up in America back then, the world was white. TV was white. Movies were white. Music was white. News was white. Entertainment was white. That's all changed. No longer does majority rule.

It's been my observation, that the more races and cultures that blossom in America, the more the tension increases. It stands to reason that if you throw a bunch of ethnicities, cultures, religions together, there will be sparks flying eventually. Too many cooks in the kitchen ruin the meal. The first wave of immigrants that arrived on Ellis Island all wanted very badly to become Americans and integrate. They did. Many of the cultures coming in now just want a bite of the apple, but don't want to be an American. More tension...

I miss the old days. If you grew up back then, you'd know what a much nicer America this country was. I'd take that time period back then over any today. Political correctness is ruining America.

A note to add -
In addition to that, they are encouraged to register as white in any form they fill out. The 2000 census had census workers going door to door in hispanic neighborhoods to help fill out the forms. I had friends tell me that the census workers told hispanics to file as caucasian.

The obvious facts are that the races are pitted against each other to further the agendas of the media/politicians/special interests.
I have friends of many races and religions and I know that most Americans can and do respect each other. This race issue is being rebuilt into a big monster issue for a reason and it isn't because the caricatures they are using as examples in the news don't like each other.
Citizens of all races should be more worried about the manipulations of the system not about this overblown BS they are feeding us in the news.
They want us to hate each other and there is a reason behind it.

Yes there is a lot of smugness coming from the Obama supporters, which is unfortunate. But people should be more tolerant of immature stuff like that, if people want to act like trash because someone the same colour as them won the election, then really that's too stupid to even get annoyed about.

hate crimes started before the election, in my state of Oklahoma this white lady went to go vote, she had a McCain sticker on her car, the blacks at the voting place harassed her to where she didnt feel safe to go vote, they chased her off.
In florida a 12 or 14 year old girl wore a palin t shirt to school the kids harassed her calling her a raciest when she wasnt. I find it sad that this is what the nation has become (full of hate).

Maybe it does. How does that justify anything? Hate crimes, regardless of who the victim is, are terrible.

Instead of trying to justify things in your head to make Obama the bad guy, why not say, "Damn that sucks that America is still so full of dumb bigots"?

I myself think Obama is no different tham Mc Cain or Bush. He voted for the bailout, will not end the wars, will not get rid of the FED. You do not get to be president in USA without the approval of the real rulers. See Ron Paul.

Another thread filled with racists comments from racists white folks. Why am i not surprised and why isn't this thread being moderated properly? Did the various police services of various states suddenly fire the overwhelming majority of white police officers so as to allow African-Americans to suddenly start attacking the 'endangered' white 'species'? Sure you can expect a backlash given the racial slurs and generally racists republican campaign and i would be very surprised if things don't get a good deal worse before they get better as these white supremacist figure out that Obama's staff is filled with Clinton and Bush era people. So much for a 'black' agenda.

These types of threads are a serious indictment of ATS standards and is making a mockery of the presumptive standard to 'deny ignorance'.

I suggest someone with good sense and the power to do so does something before this gains attention from all the closet racists around here.

I did not see anything that I would consider racist in this thread. People just commented that they were seeing more black people acting racist than white people in their daily lives. The ATSer that called racist!

and the community has never addressed it out of fear... hoping it will go away, but it gets worse all the time...

Thug Culture dominates Black Youth, if an Aryan movement was that prevalent in white society, mostly our own parents would step in and correct it... it exists but by culture it remains frowned upon, education into the topic persists and it remains contained successfully


While in the Black community there is a perception that it is warrented because of the past...

But I have no part in the past nor do most white people alive today and the ones that are, they are OLD

It deserves to be looked at honestly... like any disease it can be cured before it becomes a Cancer
