I just wish these things weren't so grainy and jumpy.
Interesting though.
I've never seen any footage exactly like it.

Kinda looks like a battle ship from star wars or something.

I got excited with this one even though it is grainy and jumpy,The speaker mentioned the wind speed and you can tell by the way the camara operator trys to comensate I would have been unsteady myself if I would have seen that.

This has been discussed on ATS recently.

I'll try to find the thread, but no promises!

Did the speaker give the reason why the video is so grainy?

This was taken by Rob Kritkausky in Phoenix on August 19, 2004;
The original footage can be downloaded here.

And this

is a daytime view of the area of the sighting:

Here's his personal website:

Discussed many times on ATS, here are some threads:

Huh? Where did Springer's post go? It just disappeared into oblivion.

My thought is that it couldn't be fire on distant hill and sur the vid is grainy but thats because most people can't afford the thousands of dollars it would cost to invest in proffesional equipment, right place at the right time?

You can get better quality even with cheap camera phones.

Yup. Hill fire. You can see the red and the smoke trailing off to the right of the screen. I've seen the same thing many times here in So. California during fire season.

Well I do see a hill in the shots posted by internos but to me that object does not appear to be down that low as I can tell from the light post.Looks like a winner to me.

well, i guess the reduced quality could be caused by digitally zooming in, which can be seen at one point, and the grain by poor light conditions...

btw anyone remember the name of the guy in the video? Springer stated it in his post that mysteriously disappeared after a few seconds...

I don't believe this guy about the daytime shot. He filmed other things in similar places (i.e. sth. looking like a chain of coloured light bulbs on a hill). Why do always the nerdy guys with fancy UFO websites have plenty of sightings, while nobody else seems to report on this? How come he speaks of a "Mothership" - sensiationalizing the supposed incident? Why not providing a daytime shot with the ground-based details needed to better identify the video? Plenty of questionable/suspicious circumstances, if you ask me...

Yeah, I don't remember the name. Springer said he was one of his good friends.
It was weird seeing it disappear mysteriously. I'm getting paranoid.

You could see that the person is pretty close to the lamppost looking up. So the UFO cannot be on the hills.
