Actually, one of the main reasons for me to post my sighting on ATS was that I just could't find any similar UFO reports.. Of course, I only did a
quick search, but was kinda surprised because of that - I was quite certain, that those kind of UFO's with 2 rings of circling lights are very common
(well, all those old Sci-Fi movies and such
)
I guess it's just me chosing wrong keywords for my search
.
Anyhow, thanks to you, I did some browsing for 'many lights' and 'water' and found some reports that sound like they are about the same or very
similar object to the one I saw.
The base of the object's body consisted of two semi-discs, the smaller being on top; they slowly revolved in opposing directions. At the
circumference of the lower disc Globa saw numerous shining, bright, bead-like lights.

I saw that an object was trying to land. It was lit up with a lot of lights. A moment later, the object had just disappeared into void and it was
gone in a second. When I looked again, it was gone. It was a dark object, round in shape, with many lights.

They pulled their sail down to slow their boat to avoid a collision, but when the ship approached their boat they realized it wasn't a ship. It was a
UFO with a lot of lights on it. It was sucking water up into it and passed slowly within twenty meters of the boat, but the fishermen don't think the
UFO saw them. It just went by them about six meters above the water, sucking up a column of water almost as wide as the UFO. The water didn't fall
back into the ocean.

it had been a helicopter. But a helicopter isn’t round, doesn’t have so many brilliant lights all around it, and doesn’t fly round and round
like that did! It came down over an area beyond the Buchanan Basin, where there’s a big mangrove swamp.”

It was very weird. It was the most beautiful green and white light, moving quite fast, then stopping... It had to be mechanical, like a spaceship,
because it slowed down and stopped. It wasn’t making any noise. It disappeared in a flash.

That's it for now. And one last thought - I think I got it why me and my family were disagreeing about the rotation direction of the lights - most
likely one ring was rotating clockwise and the second counter clockwise. Hm.. Might this be some kind of propulsion? Well, I don't believe those
lights are just for show
