Now when you say found do you mean on the ground?

Or did you film it in the night sky?

Sooooooooooooo.... like - when are we going to see something? Anything?
No link to news article, no images... weird description - i.e 'found' as opposed to 'viewed', 'seen' or 'witnessed'.

Note to Op:
Please make sure you have all the information at hand before you post. This means:

A) Having part of the news article in the Op - not just one cryptic word.
B) A correct link to the news article
C) Having the images pre-uploaded to either here (ATS) or somewhere like Photobucket and linked within your Op.

Otherwise all your doing is creating frustration amongst the members and that can be looked upon quite negatively sometimes by others if they feel their time has been wasted.

Edit to Add:
OK - seeing the images now. Will get back to you on what I think of them.

IRM

A found ufo is very different from a ufo seen. That is also very different than a long exposure of a plane.

Good night.

It's hard to discern much from the provided images other than the apparent movement should be ignored as it's simply movement of the camera over a long exposure. You will note the the light in the lower foreground shows identical movement to that of so called UFO above it.

If I had to guess, I'd say it was simply a star or an aircraft. I don't mean to poo poo your pictures but there is no visible shape shifting that I can see - just a distant light shot over long exposure with a shakey hand.

Perhaps you can answer some questions.

What time of night was it shot?
What direction were you facing?
What city or town do you live in?
Can you provide the EXIF data?

Perhaps then one of our members like Phage might be able to rule out the star hypothesis at least. That guys a living planetarium! However, that still leaves us with other prosaic explanations to remove before we can even agree that it may be a UFO in the classic sense.

The more information you provide, the closer we will get to the truth of the matter - if that's what you desire of course.

Aw shucks. Gee whiz (thanks a bunch IRM).

As it turns out Vega (magnitude 0) would have been at about that elevation at 6:00 am in the northeast. Vega is very bright but I'm not sure if it would be blazing so bright with the streetlight right in front of it.

BTW I use Stellarium

That is from your hand moving while the shutter is open. Pretty trails though. When there is not enough light you get long exposure times and any light will look like those trails. Your not pretending it actually looked like those classic trails are ya? I take those on purpose sometimes because of the cool effect. Whatever the original was would be a tiny dot of light if you stopped moving your hand.
