Ideas/Conspiracies From This Site That Have Been Proven

I've only been on this site for a few months which is not long. I was wondering how many ideas/thoughts/conspiracies have been talked about on this site have actually happened or come true. I see a lot of "future doom" predictions on this site and I wanna know if I should start making in-depth and elaborate preparations for these things. I think I would rather calm my nerves more than anything...

The collapse of the markets last September and the approaching $50 oil. So far those two are the ones that stand out.

EDIT: Before I forget, David Icke predicted an attack in a major city on the first two years of this decade (9/11) and stronger hurricanes (Katrina). This was back in the 90s.

Alex Jones also predicted in July 2001 that something major will happen (again 9/11). I will try to find the video.
