Odd Police Information Given To Me

I have trouble with this topic because I expect lies from people after witnessing so many hoaxes on ATS, and I also expect this kind of thing from the government after witnessing its dirty work. So I don’t know if I believe this or not, I guess I’ll have to sit back and see what happens. I have a second cousin who is a retired high ranking officer, sorry for my ignorance but I don’t remember positions other than officer, detective, sheriff, stuff like that. His wife is a forensic scientist, had a career and education centered on crime and corpses. Explained to me what a “body farm” is for the first time, truly disgusting. They are both really cool people who I know will be interested in this.

Anyway I sent him an e-mail. He has law enforcement friends across this nation. I’m certain he has mentioned friends that live in Ohio and Oklahoma. I’ll be interested to see if he’ll ask any of them about this for me, and what they’ll say. I’ll be sure to post any relevant responses.

Dont we have a boat load of Cops on this site as forum members? What do they have to say? Anyone?

It's hard for me sometimes to discern truth from non-truth because of so many factors. I mean, I *think* I understand the big picture, but there is always another angle from which to view things. Even this recent feeling of impending doom, how much of it is real? Maybe all these leaders are giving us the warnings to scare us with no real basis. So the pamphlet the one person got about pandemics, or the shows some are seeing about bioterror and preparation. Maybe those are just to bolster the fearmongering with real-looking preparation and "warning".

I'll keep using my own judgement, but I'm always also open to discovering that maybe what I am so sure of isn't even the truth. Today I came across a post by Sir_Chancealot, referring to Ken Welch's site and his disinformation entry with the following:



So, what does that mean? Does it mean the government wants us to *believe* something is about to happen, while nothing is truly about to happen? Or does it mean the PTB want us to be confused about whatever it is that is about to happen?

Well- I just took my fiance out to wal-mart tonight for a Disaster Survival Shopping Trip- purchasing 3 weeks of canned/packaged goods (exp 1yr +), lots of water, toiletries, extra cat food (the kitties need food too), batteries, candles, firewood, and face masks.

I highly recommend everyone else getting their emergency plans and survival stuff together! I feel so much better now that Ive actually gone out to get all this stuff. For months now Ive been putting it off, and it feels great to know that I'll be prepared.

FWIW...I'm a first responder Firefighter/EMT, and we signed those a couple years ago. I think its just the homeland security #. We also have mass casualty kits at all the hospitals, which we are cautioned not to open unless and until the proper orders are given by the Medical Authority. Apparently they areabout half a million bucks each, and contain enough drugs and stuff for about 7,000 people. The protocols also say that half of each kit, is reserved for first responders and their families first.

I was a bit torn about that. OTOH, I suppose that if the people who know how to cope with the emergency (yeah...riiiiighhhht!) are dead, then they would be completely useless anyway. And those people aren't going to be at work, doing the coping, if they believe their own families are in danger. I guess its kind of like the instruction on airplanes, that if the mask drops down, put your own on first, before fussing with the kids.

I've had all kinds of WMD training since 9-11. And we do exercises yearly. I don't think it's anything particularly sinister with regard to something somone knows is coming up. Its just the response to being attacked at home. And while I don't want to make too close a comparrison to duck and cover....milage may vary.

im an officer in southern indiana and my dad is the captain of the sheriffs dept neither i nor he has heard anything about this yet but we will keep our ears peeled and i will post if i hear anything.

sounds to me like nothing more than plain old common sense.
not sure why there's any fuss about it ... typical ATS i suppose.

Earlier this year or last year, not sure of the date, there was an article on a news website about how to decide who to treat and they were asking the publics opinion. It would become an issue if there were to be a situation X. It tells me that they know a situation X is going to occur, and that they have made their decision as to who will get first treatment when that time comes.

Keep your first aid kit ready.

This thread is about "Odd Police Information Given To Me" as in to GreyFoxSolid.

And the last question in his OP is, and I quote:

Therefore, it is not I who is posting in the wrong thread.

At this point, people have corroborated and the majority seem to lean towards the non-corroboration side.
