This must be why I got a US Army package yesterday...with a certificate of Appreciation...couple of decals...and a cute pin for my laple...(but I don't wear suits...)....guess their playing up to my patriotism....just before they ask me to re-up !!!!!

TV is the loving eye of education - most likely these shows are occurring on purpose, to desensitize the public to the possibility, get them used to it...the powers that be oftentimes use TV and media to exert fear, control...

What frightens me is how this correlates to the recent bout of public leaders making statements in regards to nuclear/bioterror event coming up soon, and what Biden and Powell both said. I cannot help but feel there is something to all of it. Things are clicking into place too conveniently.

This is standard procedure. I work in healthcare. After the antrax attacks, first responders were given the vaccine. Since I work in the data center, I did not recieve one. Cops and firefighters also get the vaccine. The idea is if there is an attack, the private citizen, myself included, would be asked to stay inside their home where it would be safe until the threat no longer existed for that particular area. First responders would not be able to so.

Doctors, nurses, firefighter and police will still have to report to work and therefore they recieve the vaccine. The limited supply will be given in an as needed basis to private citizens in a quaratine area since there is not enough to vaccinate everyone. This should have been explained to your police buddys.

Perhaps the threat of an impending anthrax attack would be enough to keep people in their homes and not out rioting?

Control through fear.

Not to worry... with all the gloom and doomers plaqueging the forums these days I am sure it won't be long before your fear is full blown and justified I mean sooner or later SOMETHING will happen so you all can point and say "See we told you so all along" The law of averages says it will happen

Well don't forget that the last ANTHRAX attack had nothing to do with terrorists. It was a home grown plot...

I was a paramedic and did technical rescue for 10 years. The brass is always coming up with some BS for everyone to sign. This doesn't show and anticipatory attack, I'm not saying it is not possible, but this paper alone means very little.

Yes, there are some odd coincidences as of late. Nevertheless, all you can do is stay prepared and live your life.

Maybe this is what all those coffins are for. And it would make perfect sense if the attack was bio-logical. I mean in 911, bodies were incinerated and if a city was bombed again, bodies wouldnt be that much of a problem, but whe it comes to a Bio attack, the bodies dont disappear, I'm kinda worried. I know the statement "Some thing is up" is used to often on ats, but it would make total sense. I mean with economic unrest, a new president coming in, and a war that just wont go away, right now would set things off a bit. Another thing that I thought about is contamination of the great lakes, if this does happen, then it percipitate up in the sky and fall down to us, and it would be a mass effect... thats what worries me considering I live in the area, Now the thing is they are the biggest source of fresh water I'm pretty sure, so that could be a potentially bad idea.

It is not only in the US that there have been increases in military movement. I work as a delivery driver and have need to drive through central London. Last week, I was driving along the embankment at the side of the River Thames, happened to look up, and I swear I saw a couple of Apache helicopters flying over Central London.

I have often seen Chinooks over London, but never Apaches


Plus, there is definitely an increase in Police activity in London recently, there are many more out there than usual.

This is fact that the first responders get vaccinated and/or treated first.

Rightfully so too. They can't help us if they aren't helped first. In some places police, firefighters, medical workers & ham radio operators can get special plates for their vehicles for this reason.

Next time you are in a plane, look at the safety card in the seat. It will instruct you to get the mask on your own face first, so you can help the child(and others around you if necessary).

Something is definitely brewing but we have to understand that the people who can help many must be top priority or more people will be hurt than would be otherwise.

And now the real smart folks seem to have been let out. Look sport, read the entire post so you understand ALL of it. My point was that yes this was a random guy, who happend to mention some of the same things I have heard from other random sources. Alone they mean nothing and even togeather they might mean nothing, but it didn't cost me any extra to post the info I have, and to the best of my knowlege, it didn't cost you any extra to read it. I even downplayed it so nobody thought I was ready to base the rest of my life on info from random strangers. now go back to your coloring book.

I was thinking it might be a false fear, too. The part about preventing rioting hadn't crossed my mind, but it makes sense! I mean, they issued the anthrax "emergency" on the same day as they got the troops ready - October 1st.

Darn, now I have a lot more reading to do. I kept seeing the name "Bruce Ivins" in anthrax articles and blogs, but I thought I could ignore the details for now. The fact that ATS came into the story is a bit unsettling, though I won't know for sure why until I read on all this stuff you just brought up. It sounds a bit complicated, at least on the surface.
