he FY 2009 Call to Active Duty (CAD) Program is open to all qualified Army National Guard (ARNG) and U.S. Army Reserve (USAR) Army Competitive Category (ACC) Captains, Majors and Lieutenant Colonels. The FY 2009 CAD is also open to Warrant Officers in all ranks and Military Occupational Specialties (MOSs). Currently, opened to Lieutenants in the Individual Ready Reserve (IRR) ONLY. The Recall to Active Duty Program is open to qualified retired Army Aviators in the rank of Major and Warrant Officers in the rank of CW5, CW4, and CW3. FY 2009 Call / Recall to Active Duty Message will expire on 30 September 2009. MOBILIZED OFFICERS WHO ARE NOT WITHIN 90 DAYS OF REFRAD/SEPARATION DATE FROM CURRENT TOUR, ARE RESTRICTED FROM APPLYING FOR THE CALL TO ACTIVE DUTY PROGRAM (CAD). There has been a change to the policy for the conditional release for ARNG officers. DD Form 368 or Chain of command endorsements must now include a General Officer’s signature. Opportunities exist for selected aMEDD officers in the reserve component to return to active duty. These opportunities are largest in the company grade Army Nurse Corps (all AOCs), the Army Medical Specialist Corps (Physician Assistants, AOC 65d), the Medical Corps and Dental Corps.
