I got the site to load and it just seems like a recruitment tool for the Army Reserves and National Guard.

he FY 2009 Call to Active Duty (CAD) Program is open to all qualified Army National Guard (ARNG) and U.S. Army Reserve (USAR) Army Competitive Category (ACC) Captains, Majors and Lieutenant Colonels. There has been a change to the policy for the conditional release for ARNG officers. DD Form 368 or Chain of command endorsements must now include a General Officer’s signature. Opportunities exist for selected aMEDD officers in the reserve component to return to active duty. These opportunities are largest in the company grade Army Nurse Corps (all AOCs), the Army Medical Specialist Corps (Physician Assistants, AOC 65d), the Medical Corps and Dental Corps. It's been a week since I first heard this news. I listened to Mr. Moore tell any and all who would listen, that letters would be sent out around/by the 21st which would have been last Friday.

Every once of my being hopes this is a hoax or some kind of misunderstanding.

That being said, John Moore should NOT be allowed back on the radio or have any outlet for speech if what he said proves false.

We are in 2 wars and our economy has tanked. No one should be allowed to blurt this mess out for the whole world to hear unless it is 100% true.

I served 23 years and I have not, as of yet, received a "letter" with activation instructions. However, I read through the comments in this thread, and it reminded me of a video clip I saw during the run-up to the elections. On YouTube, there is an Obama clip stating that, as president, he would institute a "special" federal police force as well armed, equiped, and funded as the military, for domestic "protection"... Sounded to me like a special police force along the lines of, say, Stasi, KGB, Secret Police, etc...

I don't doubt this is going to happen.

Chimpy and Cheney are psychopathic criminals and will not leave power peacefully.

I fully expect another false flag attack on a US city before January 20th.

I want to know why all the active soldiers are not activated like they were supposed to be... it couldn't be more paranoia.... could it?

I drank the kool-aid on this one but am wiser for doing so.

He's the source of the story. He felt confident in releasing the info. He said a military friend of 10 years told him about the letters.

who cares that is their job. its not like their doctors or lawyers or scientists. at least not good ones. keeps them from eating up more valuable money in medical facilities due to suffering from pms. Freed up money allows for more research into real conditions and develop treatment for those who need prostetics. many patented parts by scientists and doctors are not being purchased due to lack of funding thanks to thoughtless people flooding the system with bogus claims. those people should be incarcerated for this!

Someone needs to go out and protect the country for those of us trying to make america a better place.

I just want to request that is carry a hoax tag. I mean come on it has been 2 weeks and we still haven't seen any evidence. It's time for these paranoid conspiracy theories without any factual data backing them, to end folks.

It sounds like this may be emergency preparations IN CASE there is some sort of civil unrest due to the tough economic times.

That unemployment percentage is like a time bomb. The higher it gets, the worse things become and the angrier people get.

It's all happening gradually, though.

My husband received a phone call Saturday from the army asking him to come back into the military. They said he would receive $20,000 and would only need to take a small firearm class. The guy said that the military is wanting to hire back former military who already have been trained in certain fields so they don't have to retrain.

My husband has been out of the navy for over 20 years, he will be 54 in a few months, and while in the navy he was a machinest, cook, and for awhile asbestos removal. As a civilian he has almost 20 years in asbestos/lead removal and demolition.

One of the guys he works with got the same call last Wednesday. He has also been out of the military for about as long as my husband.

No letters for either of them, but they did get called back.
