RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil — The Brazilian government will begin using a plane equipped with body-heat sensors to locate — and protect — uncontacted Indian tribes in the Amazon, officials said Tuesday....

"It will be an excellent new tool that will enable us to help them," Vaz told The Associated Press.


I know the article says they want to protect these people. But does anyone truly believe that will really be the outcome? This does not bode well for those of us who were hoping some of humanity might escape unnoticed from the ever-watchful eye of Big Brother, even in the Amazon jungle.
