Bull - s**t.

If you actually knew what you were on about - you wouldn't have dismissed the Rafale as "french crap"... with it being probably the best airframe that can fly off a carrier at the moment.

Unless of course your the sort of idiot that would call "french fries" "freedom fries"?

YouTube Link

According to the video show, the maneuverability of the J-10 seemingly be superior abit more than F-16. The instantaneous turn rate approxi to 30°/s, sustain turn rate will be 20°/s more or less.

I can dismiss whatever the hell I want. It is MY OPINION! Why do you have to resort to the childish behavior of name calling?

If you like the Rafale so much, fine. The Rafale is the greatest piece of machinery ever made. Happy? Still, nobody answers my question about the J-10 and its "innovative" features. Instead of attacking ME, why don't you grow up and have a mature point to make.

Unless of course your the sort of idiot that would call "french fries" "freedom fries"?

It is "you're".

PS: I still don't like the French. My Irish woman can stay on topic too!

There's to be a lot of hating going around..

words like 'crap' don't really help anyone understand the reasoning behind the usage.
I would be interested to know why the J-10 is crap, and definitely why the Rafale is crap.

What about the Mirage-2000? That crap too?

P.S: This is probably the most I've ever used a word like 'crap' in one post!!
crap!!!!

Ok, maybe its not CRAP. But, where are all the export orders for this great piece of machinery?

No foreign sales have yet been made.

Wikipedia

Not good enough? How about this?

Rafale Development Problems and Obsolescence

As for the Gripen, its been exported to South Africa and several deals are in the works for Denmark, Norway, and Brazil.

The F-16, its been exported all over the place.

Is China planning on exporting the J-10?

That is true.. The Rafale has suffered from a disastrous marketing campaign which is most disturbing since they had so much success with the Mirage 2K series.

The J-10 is on order by the Pakistanis, and I believe is being actively considered by various Middle East and African countries, not to mention Latin American ones.

But export records are not a reliable marker to go by.
Not taking anything away from the F-16, but take the MiG21 for example.
It serves in so many airforces around the world and in some configurations can even get the better of legacy F-16A models.

All i asked was why you think , your opinion, as to why you think the J-10 and the Rafale are not good aircraft , opposing opinions , when backed up with facts or relevant information can stimulate conversation and eventually all sides *can* agree on the middile ground - tis what usually happens.

but you get all defensive - so i ask again , what is it about the J-10 and the rafale you think are crap? innovation does not neccessarily make for a good aircraft.

Its quite simple really.

Opinions are based on information.

It is quite obvious you don't have half the access to information (if any at all) you claim to have had. If you did, you would not have the opinion that the Rafale is "crap".

I believe that Cree Wolf did not mean to use the word "crap". I think that the word Cree was searching for was "poo poo". I hope that we can put the "crap" to rest now.

The J-10 is a nice little airplane. I wouldn't put it on par with the Typhoon, Rafale, or Super Bug just yet, but it is a start. The avionics are the main factor holding it back as of now.

Like just about every Chinese product, consumer or military, it has that distinct "Made in China" look to it. That is not a good thing.

Although, I loved flying these in Battlefield 2.
