Ufo filmed in France,16/11/08 is this for real ?Very bizarre.

As far as the video in the OP, I lean towards military aircraft flying in formation.

I live about 30 miles from a large airport, and I see this type of thing all the time, but in smaller groups.

If the jets are on a long landing approach headed directly towards you, you will get the "hovering bright light" appearance, and when they bank to take their turn at landing, you will get the "splitting off" from the group appearance.

I'm telling you guys that it's just several planes stacked up to land, lined up behind each other, with the runway off to the right of the screen. Kind of like what is shown in this video, but with more planes and one peeling off to the right to land. They look like they're hovering, just like in this video, but that's because they're being seen front-on.

Really. That's what it is.

These are simply the landing lights of planes coming in on approach.

I see this almost every night out side my house.

Two reasons:

When it's dark, you can only see lights (or what they might be illuminating), and it's not always easy to identify a non-descript light - a light is a light. During day time, in the case of planes for example, you'd see the wings, tail, etc... this fact alone will result in many more night time UFOs.

Secondly, most celestial objects apart from the moon and Sun, are usually only seen when it's dark. Many people confuse celestial objects for UFOs.

It should also be noted that when it's dark, and visual cues are lacking, it's very easy to misjudge distance, which is another factor contributing to UFOs seen at night.

Typical, a bunch of bright lights, and a guy that can't keep still.
Show me a real object, in daylight, not fuzzy at a great distance, and hold still darn-it

At around the 2:10 mark you can clearly see that the lights are connected to some type of rectangular structure. I don't know what this is but it's the best bit of footage I've seen for a while.

I can translate. The guy says it's going up and that there are six lights. They can hear a noise as well. One light is blinking on the right, and then it disapears he says at the end.

Interesting video. I have been seeing this one the last few days and I believe it to be genuine...but benuine of what?? I don't know...sveral had said possibly aiport approach flight pattern...possibke...bit at 2:04 they all stack on an angle....weird.....anybody's guess I guess!!

My guess is to distinguish the craft from an actual UFO or secret government spacecraft?

Its so abvious these are flares.

I think we give UFOs too much credit. Many ask, if they can travel light-years - why don't they just use their "cloacking device" instead of "BRIGHT LIGHTS" during the night? Well, perhaps their physics isn't advanced enough to have objects GO THROUGH MATTER. In other words, there's a lot of air-traffic - this is just a way to have planes, helicopters, etc... from ramming into them. This is why there's so many accounts of pilots observing UFOS.

Nothing really interesting seems to be said. There are 4 people (2 women, 2 men), making comments such as: Do you see what I see ? It is coming our way... and so on.
Well, I will try to translate some in case it helps... hope my English will let you catch the meaning:

G1: it is going down. Now we don't see it anymore (personnal comment = they say this whilst the lights are still visible)
W2: at last, it is the same flight (trajectory) we saw yesterday evening because "they" come from this side, turn around and go away
G2: There is no more sound. Hop là (=interjection; typically French!) So it went away/has disapeared
G2: No it did not disapeared it is the, the P...(G2 breaks off whilst pronouncing the word)
G1: ???
G2: we can hear the noise, you see
G1: ???

W2: this could almost be planes, you know
W1 (whispering) : ???.... How curious this stuff that came apart. Is it a plane that came apart? Or...
W2 : look, it is turning bigger
G2 : it is coming closer... I can only see 2 lights now... one flicking on the left
W2 : guess we are on the bridge whilst it might be abut an exercice (manoeuvre)
W2 (laughing) : we are attending top(militarian) exercices
G2 : oh là. Has gone. Ouch!

I also saw something very strange in France mid. December 08, close to the city of Bourges where stands a big air-base.
The weather was cloudy. My mind was extremely relaxed (for exhausted due to intensive care provided for days to a dying person). I was sitting next to the driver when i saw a light ball (size of the full moon) appearing and disappearing every 1 or 2 minutes, not that much high in the sky. Refering to my "experience" of air traffic in national aiports, i would say it was "flying" in the close airspace (less than 20 mns after taking off).

It was not a perfect sphere. Much more something like the logotype of the RW close encounter tour (uncomplete shape on its vertical basis). The light was mainly orange and dense in the middle and yellow on its circumference, with halo effects due to the clouds. Once only, it changed turning red in its center and orange (circumference).
I first thought of a laser, so looked all around, but there was nothing except fields. No ray.

The car was cruising at a 100km/hour-speed. This ball was following the same trajectory and constant speed. So the focus, via the window, was always the same.
Once, its trajectory changed in the same gap of time. Instead of reappearing forward, the light shape appeared backward. Then forward (and orange/yellow) again. The last time, in a short gap (same as previous; more or less) i saw it far away at the horizon, above the forest. The size, then, was much smaller.

I have no idea of what it was. Reconnaissance aircraft or UFO but it was quite peculiar. And Felt nothing special whilst the psychic phenomenon I am used to always bring physical (and/or emotional) feelings.
Finally, my sceptic mind must admit that It was really unusual...whatever it was.

I don't think it's planes getting ready to land due to the way they fade out at the end.

I believe this video nailed it. It also explains the 'solid rectangular shape' that thesexynortherner refers to, it is simply how these things appear when flying in formation.
