Introduction to Atlantology (Discussion of)

Opening this alternative thread to Skyfloatings new Introduction to Atlantology to avoid detrailing it.

I've noticed that you and several others in different threads have mentioned that one of the areas that Atlantis is suppose to be "advanced" in is agriculture. Why agriculture? Why is that part of mythos?

I'd also agree that the use of term "Atlantis" has a very specific meaning and perhaps a better term for advanced prior civilizations would be better. Atlantis is tied in to closely to Plato's vision of a Bronze age culture.
