Sorry it took so long to respond. I would agree there is an assumption they would know more and to large degree they are more informed as to the true workings of government and technology, especially as they are groomed for such positions by those in the know. But those opinions are formed through selective education and are prone to bias and misinformation on the part of the groomer(s).
