What makes a good country?

This is a follow up thread to one I posted. Since most have a sour taste about the United States and the many issues most have with th US let me know what you would do to fix the pressing issues that are hurting our country. If you come from the UK or Australia or Germany or Canada etc etc tell us what makes your country differ from the United States.

Now try to keep the bashing to a minimum since there is already a thread dedicated to that, This is for the ATS gang to compare countries and give US citizens as well as citizens from other countries options on what they would do to fix the issues that are important. Be honest..I hope to read some inspiring posts and your participation is very welcomed and your intelligence respected as well as your beliefs.Enjoy

No Democracy.

No Taxes

Land cannot be brought or sold, but be held for a limited period of time.

No Monarchy

Also the money MUST (if there is money) be made out of valuble rescources, such as silver/gold and precious gems.
