Thousands Nationwide Protest California's gay marriage ban

BOSTON — Gay rights supporters gathered in cities coast to coast Saturday to protest the vote that banned gay marriage in California and to urge supporters not to quit the fight for the right to wed.

Crowds assembled near public buildings in cities large and small, including Boston, San Francisco, Chicago and Fargo, N.D., to vent their frustrations over Proposition 8.

It's good to see the uproar that the passage of Prop 8 has caused. It is a refreshing sight to see so many strong in their belief that they to have to right to marry one another. I think that with this much support it should awaken the minds of Americans everywhere that we need a change. It's about time that we repeal the ban on gay marriage in my opinion. The wording on the ballot was confusing and misunderstood by many voters. (Check related News Link)
