If this is true, it's huge. Do you think Mr. Obama had no knowledge of any of this???? He's not even in office yet and the scandals begin.

Only in my own conspiratorial mind and knowing the history of spies in the U.S. government going all the way back to the 40's and how secrets got to Russia and Israel then other countries, already suspect that he might be one, if this is really the truth and there are FBI files linking him to such activities what is he still doing in the government, the U.S. not locked up ??? WHY??? if this is true, life really does suck

I'd like to see some more sources on this, however. It's a disturbing theory (disturbing if true, that is.)

I don't think there's any doubt that Rahm Emanuel will lean pro-Israel on most, if not all, issues -- he clearly has a personal interest in Israel -- but I'm not sure this will be the best evidence that he's a Mossad spy. For example, I think he actually left the Clinton whitehouse to go serve in the IDF, which wouldn't really be a good move for a spy placed that high in the US gov't. You'd want to sit tight and not risk joining the army at that point, right?

Of course, maybe he was "recruited" during that time with the IDF. That's pure speculation, though.

It's worth poking around, but I'd caution that

1. Rahm is certainly going to be pro-Israel
   
2. this doesn't necessarily provide evidence he's a spy
   
3. he seems pretty hardcore: don't accuse him without evidence or he'll give you the Arby's treatment

Both the Republicans and the Democrats have people in various forms of Israeli employment whether as spies, dual citizenship with Israel, in pectore citizenship... the mind boggles at the number and placement of some like Homeland Security's Chertoff.

Rahm Emanuel is very interesting as such an operative. If memory serves, Emanuel means "Our God is with us." and Obama means "HE is with us."

Whenever the link is with Israel strange theological elements almost always embroider the edge of whatever story is being covered.

After what happened to the Jews in WWII I don't expect them to ever relax their guard. Can you blame them? I surely don't. That forever changed the paradigm of trust with regard to others. Jews were upstanding citizens of Germany only to have their own government do that to them. I'm not even a Jew and I don't trust this government.

It's healthy patriotism. You can love your country but you do not have to love your government.

I agree with your assessment completely. Friends and allies should trust each other, and if they don't, then they are not friends:

I don't buy the argument that because of what happened to the Jews during WWI, that they should not trust their friends. The United States did not create the Holocaust. In fact, it was our troops that liberated the concentration camps.
This country gives more aid to Israel than to any other nation, in money and political support. If we were to stop aiding Israel, it would cease to exist. Period.
Where is the Quid Pro Quo in this relationship between Israel and the US?

Once again, during the election, Obama would destroy Israel. Now he's pro Israel? Which is it? Destroy Israel or work for Israel?

After what happened to the Jews?????? What about the 56 million NON Jews that died during WW2? Dont they count? Was their deaths in vain? Rahm Emanuel was also very influential in the Clinton administration, I guess his experience since then is a factor in him being chosen now. However, there is a theory and many things point towards it that Israel simply own the US and are using it as a tool to achieve the goals of Israel.

So what are the goals of Israel?

Destroy Iran?
Annihilate Islam maybe?
World domination?

Emmanuel has therefore reached the best possible position for himself to enact his policies. I dont think he has to necessarily be a Mossad spy to benefit Israel. In fact if I were the Mossad agent running Emmanuel, I would choose to give him a burn order so that all covert ties were severed.

From what would be his entirely above board position as CoS, Emmanuel could then advise Obama and schedule his time in a way beneficial to the Zionist cause.

He's a highly partisan figure... a Democrat bulldog in extremis and an old Clinton advisor, which is why his choice is so strange for a president-elect who promised bipartisanship and change...

Because change isnt on this agenda. Obama will be no different than Bush period. They are both one in the same and people keep screaming this fact but yet people still fight democrats this and republicans that it ticks me off to no avail. Look at this video. Youll see Obama getting hugs and kisses from all sorts of AIPAC members. Look at around 26:00 in the video youll see. We need to drop the Israeli lobby then when we get them out of our government lets get the Saudis out too. They almost as bad as the Israelis.

I think most of us agree that this selection of Emmanuel tells us that Obama is no different than Bush or Clinton. It is just a continuation of previous government by the powers that be. Unfortunately, it seems that Emmanuel has some new scary ideas, such as the mandatory "civilian service corp" that he has in store for the 69% of the youth that voted for him. There is great potential for that program to be abused.
Obama has no intention of eliminating the Patriot Act, or renegotiating NAFTA, so all his promise of change was just campaign rhetoric.
