If you listen to the song, ACDC, Who Made Who, and read the lyrics.
I can see something.
Something that is showing you who makes what decisions.
Something that people have only started to talk about in the last 10 years.
Yet this band wrote this in 1986.
Look specifically to the lyrics of "The data bank knows my number".
And "Cause it own you" and "There ain't a thing that it can't do".
Tell me this isn't making sense now?
Please tell me.
This band had access to money and technology in 1986 that everyday people did not.
What did they know that they were putting in there music?
The album that this song is from, didn't sell all that well.
And the rest of the albums did not concentrate on any of these "control" like topics.
I cant upload the song because of Mr Big Brother and his copyright infringement.
So get the song however and tell me im wrong.
PS:
If you PM me I can help you get the song.

The Video game she play me
Face it on the level but it take you every time on a one on one
Feel it runnin' down your spine
Nothin' gonna save your one last dime
'cause it own you
Through and through

The data bank know my number
Says I gotta pay
'cause I made the grade last year
Feel it when I turn the screw
Kick you round the world
There ain't a thing that it can't do
Do to you, yeah

Who made who, who made you
Who made who
Ain't nobody told you
Who made who, who made you
If you made them and they made you
Who pick up the bill and who made who
Who made who
Who turned the screw
Yeah

Satellite send me picture
Get it in the eye
Take it to the wire
Spinnin' like a dynamo
Feel it goin' round and round
Runnin' outta chips
You got no line in an eight bit town
So don't look down, no

Who made who, who made you
Who made who
Ain't nobody told you
Who made who, who made you
If you made them and they made you
Who pick up the bill and who made who
Ain't nobody told you
Who made who
Who made you
Who made who
Who made who
Yeah
Nobody told you

If I remember correctly this song was in the 1986 movie "Maximum Overdrive" which was based on a Stephen King book.

"AC/DC was selected to make the music for the movie by Stephen King himself." Link

mmm, they don't write songs like that anymore

People have pondered about big brother for a very long time now, so I doubt akka-dakka knew anything.

P.s their new song War machine is quite catchy...

edit due to typo, brought on by playing AC/DC too loudly

You got it right in my opinion Shadow. This was the title song to maximum overdrive. The movie was about mechanical things coming to life and trying to take over.

That being said,I'm glad to see that their new cd is doing so well. Those guys always could rock!

That is correct. They were selected to write this song for Maximum Overdrive. Meaning that they read the script and wrote a song aptly.

These guys may or may not ponder big brother, but that isn't what this song is about. It is about technology coming to life and overthrowing the human race.

Let us not forget the fact that the year 1984 was not too far in the past at that point. There were a lot of media discussions at the time about George Orwell and who knows what influence that had on Stephen King.

They were awesome. I just recently saw them on Nov. 3rd.

i dont mean to hijack your thread but i find this song disturbing

O Superman by Laurie Anderson

the meaning behind the words in this song have always haunted me.. even in todays world of wars the words seamed to fit..

O Superman. O judge. O Mom and Dad. Mom and Dad.
O Superman. O judge. O Mom and Dad. Mom and Dad.
Hi. I'm not home right now. But if you want to leave a
message, just start talking at the sound of the tone.
Hello? This is your Mother. Are you there? Are you
coming home?
Hello? Is anybody home? Well, you don't know me,
but I know you.
And I've got a message to give to you.
Here come the planes.
So you better get ready. Ready to go. You can come
as you are, but pay as you go. Pay as you go.

And I said: OK. Who is this really? And the voice said:
This is the hand, the hand that takes. This is the
hand, the hand that takes.
This is the hand, the hand that takes.
Here come the planes.
They're American planes. Made in America.
Smoking or non-smoking?
And the voice said: Neither snow nor rain nor gloom
of night shall stay these couriers from the swift
completion of their appointed rounds.

'Cause when love is gone, there's always justice.
And when justive is gone, there's always force.
And when force is gone, there's always Mom. Hi Mom!

So hold me, Mom, in your long arms. So hold me,
Mom, in your long arms.
In your automatic arms. Your electronic arms.
In your arms.
So hold me, Mom, in your long arms.
Your petrochemical arms. Your military arms.
In your electronic arms.

edit to add link also the music sounds like a warning alarm

Many songs have been "Applied" to many movies.
So called written for them. They were written long before the movie thought even came into mind.
According to Malcolm and Angus Young, this song was already written before this, and was just used as "a" song for that movie.
If you do some research you will find them saying this.
Apparently was written in 1983/4.
There is several interviews of them talking about the song before the king movie came to be.
And fatdad, although those lyrics are rather bizarre, please don't post links to mind control music video's in my threads thanks.

Nice catch, but I dont think it takes a genius to realize money is the tool of a slave driver. Its an ancient delima brother. Just history repeating...
Home of the fee, land of the slave.

This song used to be just for my ex but now I think I will use it to give me strength against the NWO
Seems like I'm caught up
in your trap
again
Seems like I'll be
wearing the same
old chains
Good will conquer
Evil
And the truth will
set me free
And I know some
day I will find
the key
I know
somewhere I will
find the key
Seems like I've
been playing your
game way too long
Seems the game
I've played has
made you strong
When the game is
over
I won't walk out the
loser
I know I'll walk
out of here again
I know someday
I'll walk out of
here again

Well now I'm
Trapped
OOh yeah
Trapped
OOh Yeah
Trapped

Seems like I've
been sleeping in
your bed too
long
Seems like you've
been meaning to
do me harm
But I'll teach my
eyes to see
Beyond these
walls in front of
me
Someday I'll walk
out of here again
Someday I'll walk
out of here again

Trapped
OOh yeah
Trapped
OOh Yeah
Trapped
OOh Yeah
Trapped
OOh Yeah

Seems like I've
been playing your
game way too long
Seems the game
I've played has
made you strong

Trapped
OOh yeah
Trapped
OOh Yeah
Trapped
OOh Yeah
Trapped
OOh Yeah

Peace John

Ok ....I need to point out that the above statement is so ENTIRELY WRONG that its silly..........people have ALWAYS pondered who was in charge....and WHO 'made' them, hence all the RELIGIONS of this world.......get my drift?
What your saying above is complete bunk, and is showing a 'youthful zeal' that they VERY young and uninformed have when they think they have stumbled upon some unknown truth, when in fact it is commonly known by most thinkers.
Making THAT statement is showing a clear lack of understanding of the entire history of mankind, what people are, and what they are prone to do.....
Just because you personally have only pondered such thoughts for the past few years does not in ANY WAY mean all of mankind is thinking in lock step along with you......it means you have reached a common step in your own thinking, and to flat out state its some 'new trend' because it is new to you shows lack of critical thinking on your part......or blatant narcissism.

Sorry to say the same thing in so many different ways but I an truly hoping the OP can see just how VERY WRONG the above statement is......
People have wondered who made who for as long as humans had the ability to think and it is not some 'new trend' of the past 10 years......coast to coast has been on the air way longer than that my friend.
The Bible and the Dead Sea scrolls are rife with stories of people pondering who is in charge, who makes all the decisions and why, and they were not written in the last 10 years hun......

Yes ACDC wrote this some but it wasn't written specially for the Stephen King movie as stated........it was a song on an album they had out that Mr King particularly liked.....he was a huge fan of the band. They were a great band and Mr King asked them personally to work with him on his film project.

I bet some VERY OLD SONGS that maybe are no longer even remembered had much the same subject line......throughout this planets history. I am glad your paying attention to what people are trying to convey in song lyrics......sometimes very deep insightful ideas are bantered about to a spritely tune.
Maybe the Druids did not sing in a very peppy manner but I am sure the subjects were pondering where we came from and who was in charge, and 'who made who'

Conspiracy theory is often PROVED by the lyrics of some ancient song.

Please forgive my jumping on ONE LINE you wrote.....but that one line is so very wrong, and I wanted to point out to you how wrong you are in thinking that people have discussed this only in the past 10 years.

Knights Templar?
The peoples of ancient Egypt?
The Mayan culture??????
The Native Americans of North America pre-white culture?

The greatest thing about ATS is people can share some serious insight to help clarify certain ideas, and can remind you of things you might not have remembered to consider.

Oh gee
NASTY is TOTALLY missing the point and adding NOTHING of value to the idea. What a waste of internet space........
Here is a whole new concept for you NASTY.........'critical thinking'
