Ay up Freelandr. It's very interesting the bit about 2D. I experienced it once. Best description is four ufo orbs of the clear white type, two next to each other horizontally, two more immediately below making four. When I grabbed my communicator and made contact with a three pulse signal, the four orbs actually turned into like an electric fire and had bars showing and the bars appeared three times the same amount as we had signalled to them. I have footage but nothing seems to be there, the mobile didn't pick much up apart from our hysterical screaming!
Anyway, I thought time to check it out from the rear. I ran to its rear while my mate continued to communicate with it three pulkses of light at a time, as I went past its side it was like.... it's 2 blinkin D! There was hardly any visual at all, like looking at a thin piece of paper, there was basically nothing there when I was expecting to see something solid!

What proof could he offer up? Video camera's weren't in everyones house 35's years ago. No camera phones existed 35 years ago. It's hard to aquire physical proof of light as there isn't any way to bottle up light or capture it. The thing was 2-D.....In a 3D world how would you expect him to get any proof.
Think long and hard about the questions I pose to you and then see if you really want to make that statement. Physical appearance and pressence is only part of existance. sometimes you just can't have physical proof .

It's not like he's the first person to ever report a citing. All citings can't be fake. Therefore some have to be real and maybe this is one.

Never heard about any other events at the farm. I only mentioned the light she reported in her field as it was the reason we ventured from the house that night, as well as the fact that I always thought odd that she had seen something, althought described differently, but on the same night. Perhaps I have always considered it a "busy" night. There, of course, may be no relationship between the two events.

Thanks for the "regular guy" comment - I would consider myself one. My brother, mother and I still discuss it, but as stated earlier, I seem to be the only one that is still curious regularly. They may well to be curious, but I havent asked them lately. I plan on doing so during the holidays.

The reason I finally asked on this forum was for many reasons, but mostly I wanted to know if anyone else had seen/heard of anything similar. I have never read nor seen any information on any site/book that was even close to what we saw. I guess I was expecting either no response or ridicule, but am very pleased with interest and comments. I truly wish I had the artistic ability of the CGI knowledge to create a more realistic portrayal. This event was the only "UFO" type event I have witnessed, but I would love to experience something similar again, although I think that I might react the same as my mother did, if my three young kids were with me. Hope this answers your questions - Thanks truly for interest

Rollinster - check out this link - I followed your suggestion and did some searching - I am not sure of exact year or month, but I do remember it being cold - this has some similarities, although we didnt see a craft - the "green mist" part is cool and the fact that it "filled the whole windshield" - The location is very close

Right on. That story is very similar to yours. Sure, there are a few things such as color and hamburger shape, but I have to imagine that when you are truly afraid for you life, different people notice different things. Hell, maybe that actually see different things.
