Am I witnessing the end of the U.S.A. as I know it?

Is this really the birth of the U.S.S.A.?

What scares me the most is that this is all happening
so fast, it's all just put out there, and so many people
seem so complacent. Even applauding the very things that
will take so many freedoms away.

Obama himself doesn't seem to care now that he won. He is
no longer sugar coating his plans and they are leaking out
every day. Taxes,, Big (huge) government,, Socialism,,
Forced enrollment into "training programs (Draft?).
Failure to appear at the summit using the excuse that Bush
is still president, he did appoint attendies but they will
not actually attend, they will only be on hand to hear other
attendies ideas outside the meetings.

Appointing hardcore partisans like Emanual, clearly no longer
clamoring for votes. He is in and now he will impose his
rule with little hope of stopping him. The only positive
here is that with these huge sweeping changes people may
take notice and realize something doesn't smell right.

My son is 13 he may have some interest in the military
but I think most teenage boys go through a bit of a soldier
phase. I support him to decide either way when he is older.
I encourage him to be involved in the community and sports,
he is not fat or lazy. I do not force him. I don't like
relatives who try to persuade him to their ideals and I
will NOT stand for government to take parenting out of my
hands and FORCE any behaviors on my law abiding son.

I truly hope that alot of what I read, not here but in the
daily papers, will not actually happen.

I hope we as a nation are not so desensitized that we are
numb to the threats to our freedom.

You're right. But here's the thing - there is no credible source to think this will be the case. I've Google it, Scroogled it and Snoped it and the only links are forum boards and Freeper blogs with hysterical posts and questionable fringe news links...ATS anyone? Oh and Hannity.

Those of us who homeschool know that this situation has been in the works for a long time: the government threatening to take our kids out of our homes for indoctrination. Hey, only 100? Shoot, in my hometown Tucson, I dont know any kids who didnt do at least 100 hours of community service.

On one hand I want to say, screw that, this is america, free to do or not to do what I please.
And on the other hand, I think that ideology has gone off the deep end in certain aspects. I mean, look at the country, we are free to eat a billion cheeseburgers before the age of 4, free to drop out at 16.

So I think this might not be so bad, as long as it is restricted to youth, I really do believe if we were harder on kids, they might better understand the futility of what is being taught. Also, if they are forced to volunteer, it will give them a broader perspective on society, as well as make them cherish the freedoms they get when they become adults.

Who knows. I can find a million reasons for and against it.

Haven't you noticed a lot of people have a problem with "the kids now a days". the general public will most likely more then welcome an idea like this in order to set those kids straight.
Not knowing that those kids will probably be used for entirly other purposes.

Wow! I had no idea. I have been thinking that they may have to start a draft again, though. Ryan had been concidering military, depending on who was elected. Now, there is no way he will volunteer to serve a commander in chief that has been a coc aine addict, has no military experience and pats himself on the back for befriending terrorists.

First of all, (I know it has been said on this thread) Barack Obama is not the newly appointed king of the U.S.A. he would have to get this through the entire governmental process, and even an entirely far left congress wouldn't let this go through. Secondly, the people against this are most likely the same ones who say that people have lost touch with the VALUES of America. Seriously you can not complain about one then claim the other is a Nazi conspiracy.
Mandatory is probably not a good thing in any gov program, but it is still America. That piece of paper is still in effect.

Thats just the point, Its NOT just for our youth. Rahm said explicitly twice..All Americans. Obama has refered to all Americansalso when calling for service to the country. I guess paying for the bail out of all this debt and then the citizens still having to pay off their debt thats being covered by the bail out and then paying back the government for their stupidity isn"t enough for this clown!!!

That's the problem. Obama won't answer any questions to clarify what exactly he means by "Civilian Security Force". Thus the reason you can't find much about it other than message boards. I really hope that it isn't what it sounds like. But Emanuel's words are right there for you to listen to, barring any creative editing that is what the plan is. I can almost guarantee that if this comes to pass there will be an uprising.

im sure hitler called the secret police a civilain security force too. you know to protect against all the jews. and the funny part is there wont be an uprsing. the kids will have obama implemented in their head as a savior and ultimately its the youth that will have control over this country. in stalin russia children jumped to their feet every morning to sing a song of praise for stalin.

Nope, no uprising.

First they get the kids to come out and play with concent of parents and after that they are going to get the parents who can't refuse because they have to set a good example.
