Things you'll care about:

  • It is our hope he'll have a positive effect on the economy. A president can only do so much, but hopefully his tax plan will give the lower and middle class a booster shot. When that happens, the increased spending and money in the banks should help business and the ability of banks to give loans.

    Of course this helps you because the U.S. is a large part of the global economy. A healthy U.S. economy is good for the world's economy.

  • He will withdrawl from Iraq. This should hopefully bring a peaceful resolution to the last 5 years of war in Iraq.

  • He will rejuvenate U.S. diplomacy. No longer will America be a "If you aren't for us, you're against us" country.


  • He is going to work to stop nuclear weapons proliferation.

  • He will work for alternative energy solutions and lessening the U.S. foreign dependence on oil.

That's a few off of the top of my head that would have a positive effect on you.
