Celente has never been completely accurate. He predicted Gore would be President in 2000 and Kerry would win in 2004 in a "landslide". Celente
also predicted the U.S. dollar would lose 90% of its value in the summer of 2008.

I HATE how people come up with these "predictions" and sheeple run around and scream how they were right about other things. BS he was right about
all those things. I want him to predict something before it happens and then I will believe him. I don't want to hear people say how he has been
right about things in the past just because an article states it. Let's hear his own voice make a prediction about something that will occur within
the next few months.

I think I should say that if it really gets that bad here in the States it's going to be at least as bad in other countries.
Remember a year or two ago when non-Americans were saying how they'd love to see the US economy falter, how it would bring us down a notch, and not
one of them thought for a second about how truly globalized the economy already is.
America is at the top of the ladder and if we fall apart into total anarchy it's not like the rest of the world can sit back and shake their heads at
us.
Also, if you're stocking up then your most important provision will be weapons and ammo. If ANYONE finds out about your hole full of canned food
it'll be total mayhem for you and your family. I know it's fun to play Apocalypse and imagine what a true survival situation will be like but
it'll be a lot bloodier in reality. Are you prepared to kill your friends and neighbors?

Yeah I live in western Kansas, and I would advise wherever you move that it has a good natural source of water. Out in my corner of the state it's
really dry and arid, just a little more moist than desert but not by much! if it weren't for our ever shrinking Ogallala aquifer, and good irrigation
this area would be desert!
In the end, we won't be fighting over gold and oil, we will be fighting for survival, and without water we will all perish!

a stupid comment from a sheeple himself...

Well can the big predictor man tell me then.
What am I supposed to do about it?
Because I don't think he can.
I am not in a position to store 5 years of food and move to a hippy commune.
So what is his answer?
He gives alot of predictions, how about solutions?

I have no doubt that if we see that happen in the States it will happen in many other countries as well, England, Russia, China etc etc.
As soon as America's economy started to nose dive so did the rest of the world.

I can offer solutions , as my family many years ago, lived in extreme poverty and despite not having enough money to eat two meals for a family of
four yet managed to have enough food , but would you be able to live that way ??
I can state some simple methods ...

All this selling fear,why bother?
The worst will happen if you worry about it or not.
And why would America's collapse be so surprising?
After all Rome stood for a hell of alot longer than the U.S has,and it collapsed.
Nothing lasts forever, people should know this by now.
Stop worrying about the bad,and focus and your life and family.
And enjoy the time you have with them.
 Fear mongering

OP - thanks for the link.
I noticed that the price of food has gone through the roof.
I'm going to have to go to Target and get some big plastic bins - and then get bags of rice and beans. Fill 'em up.
We still have our Y2K water barrels. We keep those filled and fresh.
I'm going to pull out my Y2K survival info.
I remember that having plain clorox was important for water purification.
I forgot a lot of the rest ... best get it out now.
Read up again.

simple , they will have to create internal fiscal stimuluses to stimluate internal economy to give purchasing power to their own people , or maybe
return to greater form of socialism
P.S , the Soviet union was flourishing under Stalin as he was building and mass industrializing Russia , while West was in great depression ...
secondly, The people in nations who lived under communism , will demand the return of that system.... thirdly , you underestimate the capability of
the russian people and others who have lived in poverty , when Soviet union collapsed in 1991 ,most russians chinese, indians and other third
worlders know to survive in poverty ...
unlike americans who are accustomed to be spoon fed and are born with silver spoon(obtained by looting poor nations)
anyways , good was globalization , it looted USA ,
law of karma prevails USA will collapse , as it will reap what it sowed

I with Black_Fox. As a reformed Chicken Little, affectionately called Dora Doom by my friends, allow me to say that nothing you are going to say or
do here is going to improve the quality of your life in case of disaster.
All you have is one moment, this one right now, so you might as well be happy in it. If it impossible for you to be happy due to worrying about this
stuff, ask yourself what it is possible for you to do to stop having all of this anxiety -- ala buy k-rations at costco, then let it go and live in
the now.
Seriously, do something right now that you enjoy. It feels better than worrying for, or to, no purpose. I promise.

It's far too late to return to such an insular economy, China can not close itself off and start selling Wal-Mart crap to it's own citizens and
expect to survive. The economy of every major nation is tied in with those of every other major nation.
People like you make me laugh, as if the economic destruction of America somehow contains some kind of karmic retribution for all the "ills" we've
committed. It's naive to think that the failing of the US economy wouldn't lead to hardships and disaster in countries over seas.
It's even more naive to think that our economic hard times are a natural occurrence as opposed to a completely orchestrated and controlled take over.
If a giant wave came and wiped out the US I'd say that was divine retribution but if the economy falls that is ANYTHING but natural.

fine don't believe in karma , fact is world does not need this parasite USA , anymore
China can not close itself off and start selling Wal-Mart crap to it's own citizens and expect to survive. The economy of every major nation is tied
in with those of every other major nation.
and chinese are giving fiscal stimulus to thier economy , don't worry , and many believe that the green energy revolution is underway in China
....
if all fails , chinese will demand the return of socialist/communist system...

don't worry , I and many other third worlders can survive in poverty and will come out of it , but you americans , forget it ..... only a
revolution with Ralph Nader or Ron Paul or someone like Lenin can save USA from its impending Doom , but I think americans are incapable of
revolution

That´s true man, when people are very hungry and hopeless, they´re capabel of doing quite terrible things. Not like animals as you said, but far
worse than it. There´s a very thin and fragile line between civilization and barbarism. That´s the basic subject of the book "The Road", by Cormac
McCarthy.
