Lawsuit seeks to bankrupt Klan group

www.cnn.com

It was a mismatch from the start: a 16-year-old boy, 5-feet, 3-inches tall and 150 pounds, against two reputed Ku Klux Klansmen, the biggest standing 6-feet, 5-inches and tipping the scales at 300 pounds.

Jarred Hensley is shown in Klan garb in a photo posted on the Southern Poverty Law Center's Web site.

1 of 3 Jordan Gruver, an American citizen of Panamanian descent, took a beating that July day in 2006 at the Meade County fair in Brandenberg, Kentucky. He was called names, spat upon, doused with alcohol, knocked to the ground and punched and kicked.

When the blows stopped, Gruver had a broken jaw and left forearm, two cracked ribs and cuts and bruises.

Now, with the weight of the Southern Poverty Law Center behind him, Gruver is fighting back in a civil courtroom. Gruver and the center are suing the Imperial Klans of America, and they hope to win damages large enough to put the supremacist group out of business.

This is a longshot but here goes an idea for a conspiracy that i will go ahead and admit does not seem likely.

The person in this picture was paid 3 dollars to wear this outfit. The people who actually beat him up were black panthers dressed in klan outfits who were trying to rob church's chicken but were interrupted and decided hot chicken was not worth waiting for.

good luck

Some logging groups years ago tried to bankrupt Earth First.

The trouble is proving a loosely organized organization is responsible for someone that may or may not be a member.

This is why terrorist groups like the KKK. earth liberation front, Animal Liberation front, all have no official membership.

they even ignore restraining orders.

The guys had already been convicted of assault. Most of the time, it stops there. These guys happen to be members of the KKK. Morris Dee's outfit, the Southern Poverty Law Center, has a history of cherry picking cases they can either extort money from criminals over or, in this case; make some headlines for contributions while conducting a civil action against white people.

The Southern Poverty Law Center has done this very action in the past, won a large award, but the people involved had nothing of value. Morris Dee's had his headlines and more suckers lined up to give him money to help his cause of suing every white person that he can find.

Don't let their media coverage or web site fool you. The Southern Poverty Law Center only goes after white people who have somehow wronged a minority member. After all, a white person being beaten up or robbed by 2 minority members can't possibly be a hate crime.

The state conviction of assault should have been the end of it.

yo, i'm gonna keep it real and true. Black folks are pretendin to be in the kk out in the hood to show other black folks the dangers that exist. If we as a black nation don't stand up against this we will not be able to smoke on the street any longer. This is an outrage and i think we need to legalize the chronic so people that are fighting for this country can get there minds off the struggle and questionable things our government has asked us to do for our country. Thanks for the comments, smoke 1.
