Well to me it seems that life is fairly inconsequential to the universe. Biology at it's most basic fundamental level is just organic chemistry.

Life is a bi-product of the cosmos.

Evolution is driven by mistakes and flaws in a 'program' called DNA. DNA, according to abiogenesis is made (originally) in an environment rich with organic compounds.

I don't know if that helps, your question is ambiguous.

Here lays the argument as to say;

Some, say that if a biological form appears to make decisions and take action in movement, or other actions is Life.

But others say that the Definition of Life is Consciousness.

So really it is a matter of interpretation of the word "Life".

Is "Life" the result (the Universe and its Contents) or the cause?

Perhaps this is why, the argument though Society?

Would you agree that this is the case???

That is if I understand the issues correctly? LOL

Can you please tell me what people define as "Life"?

Action or cause?

Thank you for your time and thoughts Good Wolf....

Definition of life? Easy. MRS GREN.

* Movement
* Respiration
* Sensitivity
* Growth
* Reproduction
* Excretion
* Nutrition

Anything that has functions that fall under all these things is alive.

Consciousness is something else altogether. It's something unique to the highest life forms. I don't know the specifics, but I do know that it's not either present in an organism or not, it's a gradual thing that becomes more so the higher the being, but it requires a brain. All it really is is the electrochemic reactions of whitematter in the brain.

Life is, as I said, a byproduct.

I read somewhere before that some people are born with tails but the doctors cut it off. You can find some images on google. There tails look weird.
