Can you name some of theses ways because most the ways that used to work do not anymore...not the only son thing as was mentioned before neither does the fact that someone is a student...its on the website, it says this:

HOW THE DRAFT HAS CHANGED SINCE VIETNAM
If a draft were held today, it would be dramatically different from the one held during the Vietnam War. A series of reforms during the latter part of the Vietnam conflict changed the way the draft operated to make it more fair and equitable. If a draft were held today, there would be fewer reasons to excuse a man from service.

Haha...umm but it clearly says in a time of crisis they may draft me to the army...which clearly goes against the 13th and 14th amendments

13th: Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.

keywords "involuntary servitude"

14th:All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

I think this one speaks for itself

True flat feet don't work anymore lol...

If you have ever been admitted to a psych. ward that's a big red flag.

Pretend to try and kill yourself and that will get you admitted.

One of the questions they ask when doing the physical is have you ever thought about killing yourself. You can say yes and then explain to them what you have all tried to do it. You need to say on a weekly basis to this question as if you say daily they might suspect your trying to get out of it.

Heart problems will also keep you out.

Tell them your a raging alcoholic and take the 12 step program but arrive at your physical drunk.

If you test positive for drugs chances are your out as last thing they want is a tank driver on acid lol...

You know what, you may very well be right. But if to had to bet, I would bet that you weren't.

You must have just turned 18, and believe me, it shows. All it really boils down to is you crying and moaning about a program that has been part of this country IN LIEU of an actual draft, for years. Decades even.

Grow up. Get over it. Either accept it as part of being a citizen of this country, do everything you can to avoid being "drafted", or get the hell out of the country.
