or yea i dont even have to scan the letter that site is on the letter and pretty much says it all but on wikipedia they have a better definition of what it is

YES I told the same thing to my mother, there is women in the military as well but they aren't getting letters when they turn 18 that they can unwillingly be drafted and shoot people who the government tags as "enemies."

If you apply for any sort of federal aid or grant, or a federal job, they'll check to make sure you registered. Possibly state funded colleges as well. Otherwise I guess you can avoid it.

Personally I never signed a Selective Service form. I used the alternate DD Form 4/1 instead. If you sign one of those you'll never have to sign up for selective service.

Agreed but what if I don't want to kill someone if I am ever drafted...how can they force me or put me to jail because of that?
