Georgia congressman warns of Obama dictatorship

WASHINGTON (AP) — A Republican congressman from Georgia said Monday he fears that President-elect Obama will establish a Gestapo-like security force to impose a Marxist or fascist dictatorship.

Not even in office yet and here we go already.
I don't know what to think anymore.
I mean, I was buying into the idea that G.W. would never give up his throne and would cancell the elections.
That turned out to be a bunch of Bull.
We now have a New President,..almost.Knock on wood.

But the one we have elected seems to have a socialist agenda and is starting to worry me.The story I am presenting does come from a Republican, but does that make what he is saying any less true?

I would like to see what my fellow ATSers have to say.

Hello...I have never posted to this site and just came across it looking for other things. I decided to reply to this post though because it has raised one or two interesting points that I have been thinking about. In CBASS's above post you refer to the fact that G.W. passed an executive order that in the event of a national emergency the president would have the authority to control every government body from the federal down to city and even tribal. (This is fact, you can find a very informative news report on it on youtube). A very scary thought that has bothered me greatly and like you, I had certainly considered the possibility that the president would enact these powers to maintain control of the nation and in effect cancel the elections. Of course we aren't out of the woods quite yet are we? But then I had an even more bothersome thought. What if this whole Obama campaign is a sham? What if G.W. came in and was purposefully destructive and incompetent to make the american people beg for a savior? Someone we would trust absolutely? Someone who practically glides into office in a golden chariot and a halo around his head compared to the pompous ass we've been dealing with for the past two terms. If another "terrorist attack" were to happen on Obama's watch and he "had no choice" but to exercise the powers of this executive order thereby making Obama the "Emporer of the U.S.", who would question it? Who wouldn't trust him? After all it's not like he's George W.? And Obama didn't even issue this particular clause, so how could he have planned it? But what if others HAD planned it? What if this was the idea all along, enacted by the people who hold true power, the Illuminati or the Corporatocracy or however you prefer to think of them? I think that the American public would be much more cooperative putting Obama in supreme power than Bush. I think others know that too. Pretty scary huh?

I dare you to search for the designer of Obama's suit he wore election night.

People can Laugh at the thought of an Obama Gestopo, but BO said it himself.

He wants a Civil sercurity force.

just as well funded
