Sarah Palin blamed by the US Secret Service over death threats against Barack Obama

The Secret Service warned the Obama family in mid October that they had seen a dramatic increase in the number of threats against the Democratic candidate, coinciding with Mrs Palin's attacks.

The revelations, contained in a Newsweek history of the campaign, are likely to further damage Mrs Palin's credentials as a future presidential candidate. She is already a frontrunner, with Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, to take on Mr Obama in four years time.

However.

But even before Obama cited "reports" of the threats at the debate, the U.S. Secret Service had told media outlets, including NEWSWEEK, that it was unable to corroborate accounts of the "kill him" remarks—and according to a law-enforcement official, who asked for anonymity when discussing a political matter, the Obama campaign knew as much. Now some officials are disgruntled that Obama gave added credence to the threat by mentioning it in front of 60 million viewers.

But many on the losing end of last week's election want to hold on to their anger. And there are those in the media -- led by the likes of Limbaugh and Hannity -- only too ready to feed that animus, along with their own ratings.

This is reckless. You heard about those muslim imam extremist who likes to preach hatred, right? Well, this is not on the same level with that... yet. But these hard right wingers don't even want to be on the same page with those extreme preachers, do they? Or are they actually the same kind of people only with different skin (veneer).

In my opinion, if they lie, they incite hatred, and loving it then they're on the same page like those extremists that they hate.

True, she can't control what anyone else says, but she should be careful and not to incite people hatred.
