Psychobilly is bad ass. I've been around that scene for damn near my whole life. Don't forget the Rezurex!



I could start naming off bands that are sick, but the list is too long. Meteorz and Demented ar GO are a couple of my favorite psycho bands. Senn them a couple of times... seen all the hellcat bands (Tiger Army, Nekro)

GOOD STUFF!

The subculture of Psycho/Rockabilly/Surfabilly is so raw and gritty, booze and drug soaked that it is certainly either for the young or incredibly strong. But I love the over the top imagery and aesthetic, semi humorous death cult.

Oh I love the Necromantix! I've seen them a few times

I't's funny I go to psychobilly shows and rockabilly shows ,and the thing I like about it is unlike other venues there are usually quite a few of use oldsters there! The kids love it it's on of the few places where the age groups can mix happily ! I have a friend who has a 47 Cadillac hearse and it's fun when people bring them to the shows and we can all hang out outside and admire the rat rodded hearses I love 'em! I'm going to her house now ,so get the music alive fro me I'll catch ya later!

Is psychobilly/rockabilly big in your neck of the woods?

It hasn't caught on here in the Land of Enchantment.

New Mexico uh? Well I'm here in the great NW and we like Rockabilly ,Psychobilly,Punkabilly and just about any kind of Billy! The scene is a big deal here,car collecting and the music that goes with it1

I like Unknown Hinson ,Jimmy Sutton and the Four Charms,Ghoultown Rev Horton Heat,Wayne Hancock,We have a local band that kicks major a$$,called Dragstrip Riot ,they are just great,they have a song called 36 inch Wheels of Death you have to ,so look up their myspace or just google them they're the bomb!
My favorite Unknown Hinson song is probably Trunk of My Cadillac,or Polyurethane

Okay whaa I was listening to XM outlaw country last night and I ran into a guy called Hasil Adkins,the song is No More Hotdogs ,doesn't sound like a hellbilly title I know but trust me ,it's a straight up kill yer girlfriend song,did I tell you I collect kill your girlfriend songs? It's a hobby!
