My concern is his lack of inexperience. In other words: is he going to lead, or is he going to be led?
I am of course referring to the Illuminati. From what I understand, no president can make a move without him. Also, will he be participating in the
Cremation of Care that so many former presidents have been reported to have taken part in at Bohemian Grove?
I have a feeling that if he goes the route of JFK, against his advisor's, that he will end up like JFK did.
Personally, I have nothing against the man. However, as an outsider with family living in America, his lack of experience is my greatest concern.
It has nothing to do with the man, but rather to do with his ability to lead and not be a 'yes' man bowing to those working and manipulating him
behind the scenes.
Compared to Bush, he is a 'green' politician. Unlike his rivals, they all have had years more experience, or come from political backgrounds, so
know what to expect in office. He is going in new territory, If he was overwhelmed by the masses at his election, what is he going to be like when
overwhelmed with members of staff demanding he sign papers without even reading them. I can imagine being president of the USA is a hectic, and
chaotic experience daily. Certainly a job that I would not relish.
Now that he is the president of the USA, and can only buy pray that he serves USA well and it's people. I am glad that the USA is no longer
colour-blind, but am praying that he can stand the course for the sake of the USA and it's inhabitants.

forest through the trees? how so?
I think we have covered every reason why he was not smiling. All those things would cast a shadow on any accomplishment. And the challenges that lie
ahead are enough to make any man tremble at the knees.
But as I said in another post, if I were to tell him as a friend, I would say give them an honest speech, but you know what bro? you did a hell of a
job and you are here. Smile and have a good time knowing you will be president of The U.S.
That simple. We didnt see that. And again, as i have already stated I think it will be interesting comparing him to the current prseident when it
comes to presentation and reading of his postures and facial expressions.
And yes I believe I am analytical. Do you have a problem with that?
If you do. I could care less.

I agree, but I felt the exact same way 9but more) about this President after 9/11.
I think personally, he is an honest man, but his postures come off as playing into what the media has made out of him.

Obama's face to me showed that he was dead serious about the oath of office he was going to be taking. No smirky arrogant smiles for this guy.
Between his grandmother dying and the BIG #E MESS Bush / Republicans have made that he (Obama) will have to clean up this poor guy will have his work
cut out for him. I doubt Obama will be taking 500 days of vacation like Bush did.
Tens of millions of Americans out of work because the Republican Party is owned by Corporate America who paid for his Campaign so he would allow them
to take American jobs overseas.
Almost fifty million Americans with no health insurance.
A multi trillion dollar war we were lied to and manipulated into.
Our budget when Bush entered was in the green now we owe half the globe big bucks.
Our global reputation that must be "repaired"
Our financial system going bust because of all the corruption and greed.
On and on and on it goes. God wake up. Just like the woman who has a mean drunk husband she keeps making excuses for him and refuses to acknowledge
she's made a bad choice.
Stop kissing the hand of the party that has screwed all of us royally.

Stop kissing the hand of the party that has screwed all of us royally.

Deny Ignorance.
I didn't vote republican bud. And I guess I have to repeat myself for people who just like to run off with the mouth with no knowledge as to what is
actually exiting said mouth. I did not vote for either party. I voted constitution party. Im kissing no hand.
Now, please. Move along...
And leave your partison b.s. at the door!

Maybe they showed him an ET in a bottle. He could be real tired or he could have over celebrated.
Seems like if you have a great deal on your mind it is more difficult to sleep. You toss and turn, but sleep doesn't come.

***Disclaimer*** I am not at all happy having only "two" serious choices, for which, to cast my vote...But, since he is the president-elect, I
can't change it...
I watched the entire speech...And IMO, he was attempting to appear "presidential" and ready to get to work...No "rah-rah," as we saw during his
campaign...I think this was a good move for him, especially with the way he is taking charge and giving orders already...I do believe that he is
already stepping on some "BIG" toes and may be humbled or directed to "tow the line"...

Pre-election, he put on his happy-face... his "vote for me!" face. Now, he has on his business face. He means business.
And for me, I like that. I want a serious, get the job done sort of President. Not a blow-smoke-up-your-butt sort of President.

The longest and most hard fought election in history...
Sleeping in spurts in cars and on planes for weeks. Campaigning non-stop.
His Grandmother who practically raised him dying 48 hours prior...
I have run marathons and adventure races and know that look very well. When you cross the finish line it is a suprisingly emotional moment and all of
the exhaustion that until that moment you have not allowed yourself to acknowledge comes rushing over you.
He had the look of a man who just finished and won the race of his lifetime and was likely just then allowing himself to feel the physical and
emotional toll of non-stop campaigning for weeks...not to mention grief for his grandmother.
Given how emotionally and physically spent he was I thought he did extraordinarily well.

Come on, I would think that everyone knows that "change" even good change is stressful, the man just spent two exhausting years campaigning, his
grandmother just passed away, and he now has the weight of the USA on his shoulders.
On top of the fact that assassination attempts have already been stopped, his children and his wife were on that stage for a short time, don't you
think you might be a teeny bit worried about them?
But no, not those of you who do not like him, their is always something you are complaining about in regards to him. I would bet that if he had
been smiling and joking you would be starting a thread on that instead wondering if he was "gloating" over his win.
Jeesh, get a grip people. It is obvious that no matter what he might say or do, many of you will pick over it like scavengers finding a kill on the
side of the road.
Give the man a chance, because he is just a man, not a savior, not the Antichrist, but a freakin man.
I personally don't think of him as our "savior", I think of him as a man that was elected as President of the USA. If he makes mistakes I will
call him on those issues, if he steps back and does not follow through on what he has claimed he will do I will judge him on those actions.
I will watch and see what he does or does not do, then I will judge those actions, not the color of his skin (which is white as well people), not the
jokes or smiles he gives or does not give, but on the choices and directions he in the end chooses to take this country.

Funny.
I saw him wink at the camera (smile and all) in the first press conference where he was seated with others.

It just amazes me that anyone here expected Obama to be smiling when he won the Presidency. Quite apart from the facts that he'd have been exhausted
and his Grandmother had just died, he is becoming leader od what was once the most powerful country in the world, at a time when its economy is going
down the gurgler. Traitors have sucker-punched the stock-markets and banks, and the Umpire is counting down.
The truth of the matter is, NOBODY knows for sure what's best to do to help America. The cascade of dominoes has started and it may be too late to
stop them.
I don't see Obama as any saviour, but I do see him as the likeliest of all candidates to have the brains, the love of America and the determination
to pull together a team who can do something. However there won't be any miracles; he's standing waist-deep in sewage along with the rest.
Watching the debates, I commented that McCain looked desperate to win, and Obama looked uncertain that he really wanted the job. There has always been
courage and sadness behind Obama's smile. Does anyone think he's unaware of the racism out there, and his likelihood of being assassinated? This guy
is putting his life and the happiness of his family on the line to do what he can for the country he loves.
He might fail. He might make mistakes. The downfall of the economy might have been planned by people who are too powerful to stop. But the same
applies to anyone in power now.
At least he can discuss the economy intelligently, and won't raise international tensions by singing "Bomb bomb Iran" in the Oval Office for a
little joke.
