Rain here. Can you describe it or take a pic?

Cloudy Skies, and city lights, make for a lack of moonlit nights.

I just went out again, and now i'm seeing what you are.
I promise when I went out before their was another planet in the
middle.. ...weird how it's gone now...
I'll try tomorrow to see if it's like that, and see if i can get it on video.

Darn clouds here. I did read something earlier this week about the moon being lined up with Jupiter, so that is probably what you are seeing.

PA here. It looks brighter and you can see it in a little more detail, but I don't see anything odd. If it changes I will post some pics because its a very clear night here.

I can see what you are talking about. Anyone know what planets those are? Went out and looked when you first posted and it was there, and it is still there now. I wonder if its alignment is true, pretty close if not.

I've been watching too.
Jupiter was in the middle.
Venus on one end, and the Moon on the other.
Venus has now set beyond the horizon, so there are just the two out there now.

Oh, I believe you. The past few nights here have been nice and clear and being so far up above sea level, the moon, stars and planets seem super close.

I got this the other night...I had the moon, venus and jupiter. But I couldnt get all 3 in the picture
(dont mind the date stamp, settings are wrong)

In late November there will be a conjunction of the three brightest objects in the night sky.
In early November find Jupiter low in the southwest and Venus just above the western horizon after the sun sets. Find both of these targets now and watch during the month as they draw closer together. On Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 they will be just two degrees apart and will be joined by a crescent moon. On Nov. 30 the thumbnail moon will be just below the two, and the next night it will be just above them.

I saw the moon and two planets earlier too. I knew one was Jupiter but couldn't tell what the other one was. The one to the right toward the horizon was the brighter planet...it was somewhat twinkling so I thought it was a star at first. When we got back home we checked online and it was Venus like spacedoubt mentioned. It has scrolled off this skymap but if you type in 18:00 for the hour you'll see that five planets were visible - Venus, Pluto, Jupiter, Neptune, Uranus:

There's an area to type in your location so it should adjust the sky map accordingly to how you'd see it outside. Hope this helps.

Neptune is never visible to the naked eye.
Uranus is very rarely visible to the naked eye.

You got a real cool moon shot,
I tryed to go out tonight with my video cam but that wasn't
wide enough either. Everything was lined up again, but seems
farther apart now then last night.
