Will there be a run on 401k's?

After jumping through various hoops to cash in my 401k 4 months ago it took me 2 months to actually see any cash. What will the situation be like if there is a run on the 401k's? Will they have the reserves to even pay them out? I doubt it.

After the democrats have actually discussed confiscating 401k's and IRA's in a previous post here we may not even get the opportunity to withdraw whatever is left in these accounts.
