The very important Senatorial election results show the following updates:

Democrat -57

Republican - 40

Undecided - 3

The Democrats so far have gained a net 6 Senate seats. The 3 still to be decided races are in Georgia, Minnesota, and Alaska. Oregon has recently declared the Democrat contender as the winner.

The Democrats are very close to the filibuster-proof 60 members needed to accomplish total control.
