Making the government work for you

I would like to find out what everyone wants from their government. The government is run on your tax dollars, so what do you want in return? What can the government do to make your life better? Would you support a government plan to drill in ANWR and offshore, with your tax dollars, build refineries, with your tax dollars, and sell the petro products (gasoline, natural gas, diesel fuel, heatng oil, motor oil) at a discount rate in the USA, thereby giving US businesses a competitive advantage in the world economy, and driving down the costs of products because of the cheaper fuel? How about the Government buying the power plants, and removing the profit structure, to provide the cheapest possible electricity for its citizens? Maybe you could qualify for government subsidised health coverage if you do some community service, possibly at a local health care facility. How about the rising costs of a college education? Would you support the government capping tuition costs? What kind of regulations would improve your life? Lets hear some suggestions.

I want to be left alone. Simple enough.

I dont want their protection or infrastructure. I just want me and my dirt to be forgotten about and to never see a bill charging me for all these things I do not want any part of.

Oh my, however will you pay for the homeless and those that refuse to work? That just will not do. We must provide for those that refuse to provide for themselves. You are not patriotic my friend. You should work to provide for others, I guess you missed the memo last night. Ringing pretty clear to me that the nation wants it this way....

Believe me, I was not advocating a welfare state, just looking for ways to get some return for our investment. I would like to quit feeding the beast, and let it starve, but the beast seems to think I owe it something, and will send one of its enforcers to collect if I forget to pay its protection money.

The only way to make them work is to file the right UCC papers claiming ownership and a security interest in your STRAWMAN or name in all caps. Then you can tap into some of the unlimited monetary resources fractional reserve banking has created in this already socialist national credit system of debt. Funny how people claim we are socialists NOW when bailing out the banks....anyone say anything about the fact that the currency was devalued over 50 years ago and officially turned into debt certificates anyway? Essentially all we do is transfer the debt and as agents of transfer we have more possibilities than working and paying unlawful taxes and interest to foreign institutions. New president or not, it is up to each individual to fight for their own freedom, economic, political and spiritual.
